Chapter 23: Seperate Ways

It's been one month since we got home from the lineup. We never went back to school in little leaf, and we had all decided we needed to leave and go out own ways. We had all exchanged ways to contact each other.

We had all gathered in the living room, our parents in the cars with our stuff packed.

"So, where are you going Amanda?" Becca asked Amanda as she awkwardly answered.

"Justin wanted me to move in here, so that's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna stay in this house, I figured since you're all leaving it'd be ok for me to live here." She said to us.

"Sandy, where are you going?" Amanda asked me.

"My mom Janett and I are moving to California, to move in with my grandma and take care of her." I said as Becca gave me a hug.

"What about you and Matt?" Henry asked me.

"Well since I'm going to Pheonix, which is only two hours away from Little Leaf, Sandy and I are gonna try a long distance relationship." Matt said putting his arm around me.

"That's great!" Becca said as I asked them what they were doing.

"Henry and I are gonna go back to our hometown in New York." Becca said.

"That's nice, what about you Jared?" Amanda asked as Jared stared down at the ground.

"North Carolina." He said sadly.

"It's time to go." Henry said to us.

"I'm gonna miss this place, but not as much as you guys." Matt said.

"Awwww you guys! This is so sad! I love you all!" Becca exclaimed as we heard a horn honking from outside.

We all walked outside where we exchanged hugs and got into our own cars, I heard my phone go off and took it out.

It was a text from a blocked number, in a group chat with all six of us.

Unknown Number: if you think this is over, you are all stupid.
Henry: who is this?
Jared has left the chat
Amanda: guys it's obviously a prank.
Becca: yeah Amanda's right, let's just all leave the chat.
Becca has left the chat
Matt has left the chat
I left the chat and put my phone away. People are jerks.

But what if it wasn't a prank?
