Hide and Seek-An Adam Pitts fanfiction *ON HIATUS*

Chapter one

Tonight’s the night. I've finally got front row tickets for a Lawson gig. I don’t know how I was so lucky. They sold out really quickly. The only bad thing is, I've still got to go to college today. I honestly don’t know how I'm going to be able to concentrate on anything; I'm so excited! But maybe tonight will be the night I actually meet Lawson...

After a long day of college, an art class afterwards, and two hours of homework, I texted my friends to meet at my house at six. We all go to different colleges and universities so it’s quite hard to make time to see each other sometimes, but this Lawson gig is the perfect excuse to see each other again!

*6:00pm*

After standing by my wardrobe for twenty minutes, I finally decided on an outfit. I was wearing a Lawson tee shirt tucked into a black skater skirt with bright pink pumps. I put my denim jacket on just in time to hear someone knocking enthusiastically on the door to my flat.

“I'm coming!” I shouted, opening my door to see both my friends, Rebekah wearing a Lawson tee shirt and skinny jeans, and Katilyn wearing basically the same as Rebekah, but with a different Lawson tee shirt. Both of them looked exactly how I felt; we were all giggling and shaking.

“Hi!!! Oh my gosh! I'm so excited!” I grinned at my friends.

“Hi Emma!” they both said at exactly the same time before looking at each other and laughing at their telepathicness.

“I'm actually shaking, I'm so excited!” Rebekah said showing us her hands, which were shaking, and after having a little bit of a giggling fit, we set off to the Lawson gig. We had to get a train to the venue but it gave us time to get ourselves together, so none of us minded much. When we got to the venue, I looked at my phone and saw that we were half an hour early, but there still wasn’t many people there so we joined the line leading up to the door. It wasn’t really cold, as it was in the middle of July, so I quite enjoyed waiting. We met a few geese and talked for a while about Lawson with them. We all swapped twitter names and followed each other and I was just about to tweet something, when everyone started screaming and running towards the road. I stood on the edge of my toes and looked over everyone's heads to try and see what the excitement was all about. I saw the tops of four guy’s quiffs and gasped. I turned to my friends and mimed screaming at them, waving my arms around.

“It’s Lawson! Like, the actual Lawson!”

“Oh my god! Really!?"

“Yeah!”

I turned back around and started to run towards them, getting my phones camera open. I got behind Adam, and said his name. He turned and smiled at me, putting his arm around me so I could get a picture with him. I took the picture and prayed it wasn’t blurry. I realised he still had his arm around me so I smiled at him awkwardly, hoping he would let go. I wasn’t complaining or anything though, I just felt really harsh having a lot more girls getting crushed to get a picture with Adam. He let go of me and was about to take a picture with another girl, but his security told him to get back into the building so he smiled apologetically and went inside, leaving a crowd full of girls glaring at me. I walked quickly away and found Rebekah and Katilyn waiting for me in the line.

“Did you see any of them?”

“Yeah, Ryan and Andy came past and I got a high five off Ryan!” Rebekah grinned at me.

“And I got a hug off Andy!” Katilyn told me.

“That’s awesome! I got a picture with Adam!”

Now it was their turn to glare at me, except they did it jokingly. I laughed at them and got my phone back out.

“Are you going to show us then?” Rebekah asked.
