"How the HELL did we end up in FINLAND?" yelled Mackenzie, on the verge of going into a full blown rant. They had gotten off the plane and were standing outside. "We're supposed to be in LA, practically on the other side of the world! Echoe this is all your fault, you said that was the right flight! Wait, what are you.... ECHOE!"
Echoe jumped on top of some guys suitcase and shouted "HELLO LA!" at the top of her lungs, just in time to get hit in the face with a snowball someone threw. Realising it wasn't supposed to be snowing in LA, she paused to take in her surroundings, starting with the gigantic sign in front of her which read: WELCOME TO FINLAND! in several different languages.
Echoe finally pulled out her headphones, shook the snow out of her pink hair and asked, "Uhh guys? Why are we in Finland?"
"Idiot." Amber scoffed, hitting her in the back of the head.

"So, we got on the wrong flight and now we're in Finland." Echoe outlined.
"Yeah, and it's all your fault!" Topaz growled
"Hey!" Echoe protested, "It was an honest mistake, I swear!" she started backing up. "Do you really think I wanted to go to frozen-over Fin- PPFFFFLTT!"
With that shout, Echoe - being Echoe - had backed into someone, knocked them over and was now lying on top of the poor person.
"OH MY GOD! I'M SO SORRY ABOUT THAT!" Mackenzie apologised profoundly. "I'M SO SORRY! SHE'S JUST A LITTLE KLUTZSY AND- oh, it's you guys."
Standing before them were four guys from their class. Ryan Grand, Kai Jackson, Jacob Fowler and Dylan Shonefield - who Echoe was lying on top of.
The two groups just stared at each other until Dylan piped up:
"Uhh, do you mind getting off of me?"
"Oh, right! Sorry!" Echoe squeaked, jumping up as fast as physically possible. Her usually creamy complexion, now bright red.
Eyeing the girls suspiciously as he got up, Dylan decided to ask:
"What are you guys doing here?"
-at the exact same time Echoe did.
Echoe looked down quickly, blushing shades of red unknown to man. "You first." she muttered.
"No, you knocked me over, you answer first."
Amber rolled her eyes, "Echoe wrote down the wrong number so we accidentally got on the wrong flight.." She glared at the boys. "What are YOU doing here?"
Ryan, shifting uncomfortably, answered:
"We were, ah, following you...." he muttered, rubbing the back of his neck.
Amber raised an eyebrow. "Oh? And WHY exactly were you following us?"
Cai shrugged, "There wasn't anyone else around when we were supposed to board the plane, so we followed you girls thinking it was the right flight."
Mackenzie couldn't take it anymore.
"DOES ANYONE ELSE REALISE WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE?" she screamed. "We're in FINLAND! For crying out loud! HOW THE HELL ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GET BACK TO LONDON? Scratch that, how are we supposed to get to LA for our school trip? The MINUTE they take roll call they'll know we're missing and DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH TROUBLE WE'LL BE IN? We'll NEVER hear the end of it! And that's assuming they find us! What if they don't? What if they never find out which flight we got on? Then we'll be stuck here, FOREVER, in FINLAND! We'll be forced out into the streets and DIE! I DON'T WANT TO DIE! I DON'T WANT TO-"
"MACKENZIE!" Amber yelled, cutting her off.
"Look, all we need to do is find someone who works here, explain what happened and ask when the next flight to LA or London is." Topaz suggested calmly. "I think I saw a help desk over there, we'll be back home in no time."
***
"I'm sorry but due to extreme weather conditions, we don't have a flight to London or LA until next month."
"Echoe, this is all your fault for wanting to meet Kimi Raikkonen." Mackenzie shouted, before promptly fainting.
***
"So now what?" Echoe questioned. "Do we find a hotel?" She looked over at Mackenzie, who was still unconsious and being carried between Amber and Jacob.
"Well," Ryan began. "My Uncle owns a hotel here, I can ask if he would let us stay."
Kai nodded, "Thanks man, that would be awesome."
***
"NO ECHOE! Do not jump ONTO the taxi! You'll make a dent!"
"Are you implying that I'm fat?"
"No. I'm saying that you could fall - like you just did."
"Is the taxi okay?"
"I'm fine by the way, thanks so much for asking!"
"Shut up Echoe....."
***
Ryan's uncle did NOT share the Grand family trait of hotness. He was a rather large man, going bald and had a thick mustache that was covered in bits of food.
"Welcome! Welcome!" he greeted them. "You may call be Barry. Here are your room keys, breakfast is at 10:00am." Barry gave them all a wide grin. "Any friend of my nephews is a friend of mine! Please enjoy your stay." with that he waddled away into a back room.
Ryan handed one of the two keys to Amber.
"You, Topaz, Mackenzie and Echoe take one room," he picked up the other key, "Me and guys will take the other, that alright?"
"That's fine." Amber smirked. "Oh, and Ryan?"
"Yeah?"
"I don't really say this often but, Thanks."
"No problem." he smirked straight back at her.
***
"Echoe! DO NOT JUMP ON THE BED!"
"But it's fuuuuuunnn!"
"Dude, I was sitting on the bed when you jumped on it. I nearly went through the ceiling!"
***
"Topaz! Give me back my phone!"
"This is going to be a long night." Mackenzie muttered.
