Chapter 20

"Ashton. Wait a minute where are you going?"

He ignores me and keeps walking.

"Fine you asked for it." Then I run after him and jump on his back. Wrapping my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck.

He puts his hand on the wall to catch his balance while his other hand grabs one of my legs so I don't fall off.

"Why did you do that? I could have hurt you, if I fell."

"Because you were ignoring me and wouldn't listen. Now mush!!" I point forward as I say that.

He chuckles and starts walking to the stairs.

"What where you and Axel saying about me?"

"We were just talking about how I know you and Axel are stronger than me. That's all nothing bad." I tighten my hold on him when he starts walking up the stairs.

"I guess your right i just thought it was something horrible, then i would have to freak out on you." He finally got to the top of the stairs and then he stopped.

"Keep going i didn't say stop. " i lifted my head up from his shoulder and tried to see what he was looking at. As soon as i looked up i had known why he stopped. There by the big window was Cory, but he wasn't alone. The same man that had held me captive had Cory with a knife at his throat.

I got off of Ashton's back and walked two steps before the master spoke.

"Hold it right there, if you come any closer poor little Cory is going to get it, and misty you know exactly what i mean when i say that."

Hurt flashes through my eyes and i hope he doesn't see it, but he does.

"That's exactly what I'm talking about, you got a lot of that from James." he nodded to the side and James materialized right next to him.

"Hello misty, so nice to see you again." James walked over to his master and took Cory from him.

"Now we are going to leave, and your not going to come after us, your brother will make a fine Slave. Lets just hope he doesn't die before we get there." Then they are gone with Cory.

I turn around and see Cory in Ashton's arms. He smiles at me and i grab him and hold him close.

Ashton turns me around by my shoulders and i see James and the master standing in the same place as before.

"How did he do that? James had a tight grip on him."

"You sound surprised, but you cant underestimate the powers of the chosen one. You cant harm him, you cant kidnap him, he has more powers in his pinky finger than you do in your entire body. So either you get out of here or I'm going to let Cory do whatever he wants to. Oh, and just so you know he knows what you did to me and just because he cant talk doesn't mean anything."

The master looks a little scared for a second, but then its gone.

"I'm not scared of a little boy. He's only what three?"

"Actually he's two!" Then Cory leaps from my arms and transforms into a wolf at the speed of light. I didn't know he could do that yet, I mean hes only two. I learned to do that when i was ten and even that took me a while.

Cory had taken out James and had The master cornered. Ashton had gone and got his dad and a bunch of other pack members to take James and the master to the dungeon and that is where they would tell us where the rest of his pack is.

Ashtons dad and the others grabbed james and the master and walked down the stairs. Ashton ran to his room to grab some clothes for Cory, and i walked over to a baby wolf that was white with a black dot around both of his eyes.

"You did it Cory, you saved the pack." He did it the book was right he would save us from another war with an enemy pack.

Cory smiled a wolfy smile at me and then he licked my cheek.

2 hours later.

Ashtons dad had gotten the answer her was looking for and sent the pack fighters out to get them.

After hes done talking to Ashton he comes over to me. "Thank you for saving my pack i will be forever grateful, and I'm glad my son has found a woman that will set him on the right path and help him lead this pack to a great life. I, uh have someone i want you to meet." He turns around and waves to someone out the front room window.

"Who is out there? Is it someone i know?" I stare at the door when it opens slowly, and in steps Alpha Jones.

I turn to Ashton's dad, "I've already meet him, at the store." I turn back to Alpha Jones, but something is different about him. He looks more familiar then the last time i saw him. Why does he look so much like someone i used to know?

I cant quite figure it out, until he says,  "Hey M don't you recognize me?"

I'm stunned, absolutely stunned, its the one man i haven't seen in almost three years. The man i thought was killed in a car accident with my mother.  The only person who ever called me M.

It was my dad.

"Dad?" I run up and hug him, then I start crying.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Hey Guys i know it has been a while... i know i know i'm sorry but i have had writers block and just now getting over  it. so this book has come to an end...(covers ears as you all scream at me)  and no i did not leave this this chapter as a cliffhanger it clearly tells you who he is.  anyway im going to do and epilogue, so you can stop being mad at me. i don't want to leave you guys wondering what happened to all the characters so tada! well hope you guys liked the last chapter and if you did then be sure to tell me so i know!

i'm going to be publishing a new book soon so i will tell you the name at the beginning of the epilogue, because i know some of you don't read these at the end.
