Dreams | Chapter 27

EMMA'S POV

My mom was doing the dishes.
And I was trying to gain courage to open my mouth.

"Mom... Today I found out something really... big..." I finally said.
She turned around and looked at me in confusion.

"What is that?"

"I... I really love him. You know that right?"

"Him? Killian?"

I nodded. Right I forgot to say who it was.
My nerves were killing me.

"And it's true love... It's ah... Special..."

"Emma is there something you want to tell me?"

She stopped the water and dried her hands with a towel.
She looked at me right in the eyes.

You could have just kept with the dishes, you know?

"We are expecting a child."

"Emma! Are you kidding me? Is this a joke or something? Oh my god!"
She ran to me and hugged me.

I blinked my eyes repeatedly. Yes this was really happening.
"Emma this is great! This is really really great!" She quickly pulled away.

"I know this is really soon... and it's really ruining the plans and I'm sorry I just-"

"Plans? What plans?"

"I can't go through the portal with you. It can damage the baby. I have to wait here 9 months."

"Emma we'll stay with you. Of course."

"Someone has to lead the kingdom."

"Regina can do it. Emma. I'm not going to lose this so important part of your life. How long are you?"

"2 weeks..."

My hands were on hers.

"This time you won't be alone." She said and I smiled. "When are you planning on telling it to David?"

"Telling me what?" He came in and put his arms around her waist.

"Ah I..."

I looked at his curious eyes. He had no idea what was about to come.

"Mom help me." I laughed.

"Your daughter is-"

"Killian and I are expecting." I interrupted. I wanted it to be me telling the news.

"What?!"

"I know it's a lot. But we love each other and I know he wants this too. And he's changed. He's changed a lot. I trust him."

"Oh Emma..." He came to my side and hugged me.
His hand on the back of my head as I always loved it.

"I just want my daughter to be happy." He said when he pulled away.

I felt tears coming.

When I found out I was pregnant of Henry I was in jail. And even if I wasn't, I had no friends to tell. I had no parents there to tell me how happy they were for me and man to say he would be right there with me.

"Snow we're gonna be grandparents again." He said and walked to her who kept doing the dishes.
"I'm feeling old. Aren't you?" She said and we all laughed.

And right then the sleepy beauty came down the stairs.
He had been taking a nap in my bedroom.

"Well we heard the news!" My mom said and Killian looked at me.
I smiled to him and he quickly understood what was happening.
