I wake up to find someone stroking my hair. Flint. "Flint what are you doing?" I ask. "Nothing!" He says as he quickly pulls his hand away. Blair laughs. "It definitely doesn't look nothing!" Augustus comes crashing through the trees. He has a sword in one hand and he's panting. He charges towards Flint. He then stabs him. In the stomach. Flint looks alarmed, and then falls to the ground. A cannon goes off. Blair backs up. "Augustus what's gotten into you?!" She demands. "I need to go HOME!" he yells. "Cassandra, run! We need to go!" Blair yells. Augustus is still coming towards us. I grab my bow, my bag, and a few arrows along with some food on the fire. Rose runs towards Augustus. "I'll....I'll buy you two some time okay?!" She yells. I nod, tears filling my eyes. I sprint up towards Blair. Roses is going to die for us. A cannon goes off. "Rose!" I scream. She's gone. Forever. "Come on, Cassandra! Come on!" We rush to the Cornucopia. By then, I realize that Augustus has issues. Big issues. I'm guessing Blair already knew this. She's known him along time. Long before the Games. I climb up on top of the Cornucopia, and pull Blair up where I see Augustus coming towards us, full speed. "Is....is he going to die?" I ask.  Blair grimaces. "Yes. And I am going to be the only Career left. Which means I'm giving you 15 seconds to run. After those 15 seconds, we aren't allies anymore. I can kill you any moment. You can kill me any moment. Got it?" She says. I nod. I watch a knife pierce Augustus's heart. A cannon goes off. I scramble off the cornucopia, and run into the woods. She let me go. A debt I'll never be able to repay.

I slam through the trees, my bow and arrows colliding with them. I have a decent amount of food. Enough to last a good 5 days. That is, if I don't eat too much. Blood is pounding in my ears as I fall into a hole. I scramble out, and I climb up a tree where I take  my bag, and open it. I grabbed the wrong bag. It was Flint's that I grabbed. Inside the pack, I find a sleeping bag, berries, meat, crackers, glasses that allows you to see everything clearly at night, socks,  a half a dozen knifes, a rope, and fifteen arrows. I practically do a victory dance as I realize that he had those extra arrows for Amethyst if she ran out. I climb up into a big willow tree and sit for a while. A lot has happened today. I'll just have to wait until tonight to see the death recaps. I finally decide to get out of the tree and go find some more food. I take my bow with my berries and eat along the way. That's when I see something moving in the bushes. Andrew. At first, he doesn't see me. I've gotten the hang of using a bow, so his life is definitely on the line. I quietly move behind a tree, where I aim at Andrew's back. My muscles in my arms are getting tired from holding the string on the bow back so long. I release my arrow, and it finds it's target. Andrew is taken by surprise, but I'm the most surprised. He's got a armor of some sort! My arrow bounces off into a bush, and Andrew picks it up. He looks around. I'm screwed. See? This is where I become a total idiot. I don't know what weapons he has, and I definitely didn't know if he had armor or not. I can't climb up the tree either. So I'm toast. Unless I come up with a genius plan. Andrew is coming towards the tree. I'm going to die, aren't I? "Who's here?" he demands. That's definitely a genius question. Like someone's going to respond. So I decide to make a run for it. I run as fast as I can, and climb up into my tree. Andrew runs to the tree, and sees me. He's about to shoot me when I shoot him. The arrow is sent into his skull. A cannon goes off. So how many tributes have died today? Augustus, Flint, Andrew, and Rose....poor little Rose. I'm almost certain Blair is thinking it was me that just died.
I hope down from my tree, and examine Andrew. He was definitely starving to death. You can see it in his hollow cheeks. I find a pack, and in the pack there are several more arrows. And some beef. This must be my lucky day. I climb back into my tree when the speakers in the arena blare out. "Attention all remaining tributes, there will be a feast early tomorrow morning and all the things that you desperately need will be there. Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor," Claudius Templesmith says. I glance over at my pack. I really don't desperately need anything, right? I mean, I have everything except big amounts of food..... I guess I should go. But I'll be in the hands of Blair, Melody, and that District 9 tribute. Andrew was the last boy tribute to die. Interesting.  I sit and eat dinner as I watch the death recaps. Flint shows up first , then Rose, and Augustus. Andrew is next to appear. The anthem finishes. I manage to get a good 5 hours of sleep. But I still wake up early in the morning. I head to the Cornucopia, quietly. I see the District 9 girl being attacked by Blair. Her cannon goes off. Then it happens. Melody runs towards me, and pins me down. I'm struggling to get back up. "Where's everyone else, 5?" she asks me. "They're all dead, stupid. And you're not even a threat," I say. I kick her in the stomach. She squeals and I get up. I grab a rock and hit her in the chest . She's moaning over and over, and she's in extreme pain. All the sudden, it gets super dark. It's pitch black, and Blair is charging towards me. There's no look of regret on her face as she tries to end my life.
