~help i realised iw rote the entire chapter of 144 in past tense. I literally spend like 15 mins fixing it. Its just that the backstory is wortten in past tnese so i get confused~

-Start of Chapter 145-

"W-What...?"
His voice trembles.
"My Lady... it's me."

She looks around the room, panicked and breathless, her eyes wide and unfocused as if the world itself has been rearranged.

"Where am I? What is this place? Why—why are you calling me that?"

Only then does she seem to notice the warmth around her hand — Sunghoon's fingers wrap gently around hers, as if afraid she might shatter.

Her gaze drops to their joined hands. Confusion flashes... then fear.

She snatches her hand away.

Sunghoon flinches as if struck.

"My Lady..." His voice cracks, barely above a whisper. "It is just me."

But she recoils further, pressing herself against the headboard, trembling.

"I—I don't know you," she says, breath hitching. "I don't know anything—"

Her voice breaks.

Sunghoon swallows hard, throat tight with panic.

"Jia!" He stands so fast the chair falls back the floor. "JIA!"

The door flies open with a gasp.

Jia freezes on the threshold, hand flying to her mouth.

"My Lady—!!" Tears instantly well in her eyes. "You're awake—you're finally—"

But Y/N only shrinks back, confused and frightened.

Sunghoon's voice cracks.

"Jia... get my brothers." His hands shake. "And hers."

Jia's breath catches. "Is something wrong—?"

Sunghoon looks at her, devastation raw in his eyes.

"Tell them.... S-She... she has lost..." His voice falls apart. "...all her memories."

Everyone gathers around her — brothers, friends, Riki wide-eyed, Heeseung tense, Jake silent for once.
Their voices overlap in a frantic haze.

"Does she recognise anything—?"
"Try saying her name again—"
"Noona, do you remember me? Anything at all?"
"She's shaking, give her space—!"

But Y/N only presses her back harder against the headboard, eyes darting from face to face, overwhelmed and terrified.
Every sound seems to crash over her like a wave she can't outrun.

"I don't..."
Her voice trembles.
"I don't understand any of this—please—please stop talking—"

Her breathing quickens. Panic begins to claw up her throat.
