Chapter 30

Jessica's POV

I grabbed a rag off the floor and wiped the sweat off my face. Zeke was having me run five laps, 10 pushups, 10 situps, 10 crunches, 10 burpees, and then do it all over again. I had to do that 10 times and I got a minute break, which is over in 10 seconds. I grabbed a quick drink of water before heading back to Zeke.

"Now punch the bag left then right 50 times for each side." Zeke told me.

I taped my fingers and started punching the bag. Before I knew it I was done and he was having me practice kicking, then we fought and he taught me attacks to use on X. I finished after training for four hours. I went to my room and got in the shower. I took a quick shower and got out. I put on a pair of shorts and tshirt and braided my hair before walking to the living room. When I got to the living room I saw Deke playing with Elliot and Leigh as they sat on the floor. I walked up to them and picked up Elliot and kissing him on the cheek and setting him down, doing the same thing to Leigh.

At that moment someone knocked on the door. I got up and answered it. Clayton stood there with a small smile on his face.

"Do you want a break from your training?" Clayton asked me.

"Yes I am so exhausted after that shit." I said smiling.

"Let's go." he said and I grabbed my phone before walking out the door.

"Jessica get back here now." Deke yelled.

"Sorry can't hear you." I yelled back and quickly ran to Clayton's car.

I laughed and got in the car. Clayton mashed the gas when he saw the Deke running down the stairs. We drove for a while before I started getting curious of where we were going.

"Where are we going?" I asked turning to Clayton.

"It's a suprise." he said goofily.

"Are you kidnapping me that way I can't go to that fight?" I asked in a serious tone.

"Good idea, however that is a no." he said.

When we finally stopped we were in the little town about 30 minutes away from town. I looked at the sign of the place we were at and smiled. It was an arcade and pizza place. I quickly got out of the car and looked back and saw Clayton get out of the car. He walked up to me and we walked into the building. The smell of pizza hit me when we walked in and I could hear the arcade games running.

"So do you want to eat or to play games for a while?" Clayton asked.

"I want pizza first, they have banned junk food." I said before walking over to the food counter.

He walked up to the counter and ordered a large pepperoni pizza. He pulled out his wallet and payed for it and bought a pitcher of iced tea for us. We walked over to a table and sat down waiting for our food.

"Are you nervous about the fight?" he asked.

"Yes, I know I have fought so many people before but I'm worried about this fight." I said truthfully.

"You're going to win, you're black lightning the girl who can beat up a man twice her size." he said.

"I know but this guy is skilled, he knows how to fight." I told him.

"I believe in you Jessica, plus after the fight I'll take everyone out for food." he said smiling.

I smiled at him but it was not a real smile. Right after the fight I was getting on a plane and going to Russia. I would miss all my friends but it was the right thing to do. I needed to bring the danger away from them. I was about to answer when our pizza came. We both grabbed a slice and started eating. When we finished the pizza we got some game coins and started playing games. I'm pretty sure we played every game in the place. I also destroyed Clayton in air hockey, several times.

We cashed in all the tickets we got at the prize counter and looked at all the prizes. We got matching sunglasses and I got a stuffed animal. I got the last minion toy they had. We spent the rest of the tickets on candy. We walked out of the place and it was already dark. We got in the car and Clayton drove me back.

"Bye Jessica, I'll see you tomorrow we are all coming to see you train." he said as I got out of the car.

I waved goodbye and walked up the stairs and knocked on the front door. A very angry Zeke answered the door.

"Where the hell did you go?" he asked angrily.

"Oh don't be a little bitch Zeke, I just hung out with Clayton." I said.

"Don't call me a bitch Jessica, you need to go to sleep that way you are well rested for training tomorrow." he said.

"You're right, goodnight Zeke." I said.

"Of course I'm right, by the way I put the twins to bed for you." he said.

"Thank you." I said before going to my room and falling asleep.
