So I decided to update because I got my first vote on my new story that all of you should check out. It's called Falling For You.

Jessica's POV

Tris, Maverick, and I quickly made our way out of Clayton's house at around midnight. Maverick got into the drivers seat of the SUV silently and I got in the passengers seat. Tris got in the back and we all were unsure of the outcome of this mission. We drove to the location that Ella was at and saw that the building was heavily guarded.

"She is definetley in there." Maverick stated. I nodded in agreement trying to think of our best plan to get in.

"Hey, look there is a window to the right. No one is guarding it and it's dark." Tris stated happily.

"That will be our entrance and exit." I said and soon we were making our way to the window.

I looked in the window and saw a horrific sight. In the middle of the room was Ella tied up. She had bruises all over her body. She has blood running down her forehead and her eyes are closed. I opened the window and jumped into the room and Maverick and Tris followed. I quickly untied Ella and picked her up. I stuck her through the window and told Tris to get her to the car.

I looked around and saw Ella's blood on the floor and almost broke down in tears. Maverick pulled me into a hug and I was thankful. Right at that moment the door opened and in walked my uncle. Maverick turned around and gasped.

"I see you saved the stupid bitch, but I guess you can never save yourself." he said in a cocky tone.

"You will pay for what you did to Ella you bastard." I screamed.

"No, you will." he said and pointed his gun at me. At that moment I was prepared to die, I knew that Elliot and Leigh would be taken care of. He pulled the trigger and I heard a bang but didn't feel the bullet. I looked down to see Maverick bleeding on the floor.

I looked up and pointed my gun at my uncle and shot him in the hand. I ran over to him and kicked his gun away. I punched him so many times I lost count. My hands were bruised and bloodied and he was passed out. In that moment I knew I had to help Maverick.

I ran over to where she layed on the ground and layed her on my legs. She was having a hard time breathing and I couldn't help but start crying.

"Don't leave me Maverick." I pleaded to her.

"Take care of my weapons and my computer for me." she said making me laugh. "On a second thought, give that Clayton guy a chance, you deserve some hapiness."

"Well you'll be there if I ever do go on a date with him." I said.

"Yeah, yeah, now get out of here I will beat their asses if they come after you guys." I laughed but shook my head signaling that I wouldn't go.

We talked for another couple of minutes about our funnest times together. I was talking about when that one guy peed his pants because of us when she stopped breathing.

"MAVERICK, NO YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME!" I screamed. I felt warm arms wrap around me and I looked back to see Clayton.

He picked me up and took me out the window. I cried in his arms and didn't even notice that we had gotten in the car. Tris looked like she was about to cry and Ella was being held in Easton's arms. When we got back to Clayton's house Tris led Ella and I to our room and I broke into tears again when I saw Maverick's computer on the bed.

"I can't believe she's gone, she always seemed invincible." Ella said in a soft voice. It was true we met Maverick in an alley after she went and celebrated her 21st birthday by getting drunk. The girl still managed to take down three huge guys while stumbling around. After that day we all became best friends.

"We all need to sleep." Tris said. We nodded in agreement and got in bed and drifted off to sleep.
