"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to run into you," I say, looking at the ground and unable to look him straight in the eye, I don't know why.
"It's completely fine," he responds, smirking a little and offering to shake my hand, "I'm Jc. What's your name?"
"Lexi. You're the same Jc that makes videos on YouTube, right?" I say, up at him at last and smiling.
"Haha, yeah. I'm on my way to VidCon, right now, I had to stop in New Jersey to run a quick errand."
"I'm also going to VidCon, with my friend Belle," I gesture over to a very wide eyed Belle, "who looks like she's having a heart attack."
Jc chuckles and says, "Well, if you want, we can all meet up for lunch or something during VidCon,"
"Sure!" I respond. We exchange numbers and head into the airplane. He has a first class ticket and we have coach, so we say our goodbyes and go into our different seats.
"That. Was. Jc Caylen!" A very exited Belle screeches.
"Yeah, so?" I say, throwing my carry on in the upper hand compartment and helping a child with theirs, "It's no big deal."
"No big deal? You have to be kidding," Belle says, sliding into the window seat with a Seventeen Magazine and a brownie, "that was the best moment of your life. Your life."
She can be a bit overdramatic. I shrug and take out my phone to listen to music. A little later we are airborne, and I ask Belle to switch seats with me because I like looking out into the sky.
A few hours later, we arrive, grab our suitcases, and start to get off the plane. I look for Jc but can't find him, so after I'm out of the plane I start to walk straight to the doors.
"There's McKenna and James!" Belle points to two tall blonde figures waving frantically at us. We wave back and walk towards them.
"Ugh, I haven't seen you in forever!" McKenna says, hugging us both and giggling, "You need to move to California."
"Yeah, we miss you too much if we only see you once a year," James says, grinning, messing up my hair and taking our bags. I smooth my hair back out and pout at them.
"Did you two get taller? That's not fair. You're leaving us behind!" I complain to them, and everyone laughs.
"Yeah, stop growing! You're making us look bad," Belle agrees, and starts walking with them, towards their car, "where's Lacey?"
"Out and about, she's taking a tour of UCLA today, that nerd," McKenna replies, grinning. Lacey has always been the smart ass in our group.
We all pile into the car and head towards McKenna and James's house, which really shouldn't be called a house, rather a castle, due to it's immense size and beauty.
It takes about an hour to get there, so we all talk about who we want to meet, and whether or not this will be the year I finally fall from riding my penny board (I've never fallen, well, not in front of them).
We get to the house, eat some pasta, and go straight to bed. We have to be up bright and early tomorrow for VidCon. Belle is on one of the two beds in our shared room, on the phone with Trevor.
I get out my phone and start to watch YouTube, when I get a text.
It's from Jc, I realize, and I open it.

"Hey, just wanted to say goodnight. See ya @ VidCon tmw!:)"

I smile and text back, "Goodnight! Cya tomorrow! "

I turn off the lights and go to sleep, and throw a pillow at Belle when she wot get off the phone. Finally, a silence spreads through the house, as we all wait in anticipation for the following day.
