*Jc's POV*
" Wake up, shithead," My best friend Kian says, slapping my face a couple times before ripping my sheets off of me, " it's VidCon time."
Groaning, I roll out of bed, kick Kian out, and start to get dressed. I pick out a simple graphic t-shirt and some jeans, along with a beanie and sunglasses. I don't bother to do anything with my hair except comb it a little and spray some hairspray in it. Yawning, I trudge out of my room, only to see my other friends, Ricky and Connor, eating breakfast without me.
"Mother fuckers," I complain, grabbing a bowl and making cereal, "could've at least saved me some bacon."
Ricky snaps his fingers and does a head roll thing.
"Gurll," he says in a Valley Girl accent, "my stomach is on its own time. Sit your ass down and shut up."
"Oh shit," Connor says, looking at the time, "I have a panel really soon. Great, I love my fans with all my heart, but I'm not in the mood to be run over by screaming teens!" He smiles so we know he's joking, Connor really does love his fans. He places his plate in the sink, grabs his car keys, and leaves.
"Dude, you look like shit," Kian says, sitting down next to me. Ricky agrees, and I decide to tell them why.
"This is gonna sound incredibly cheesy, but, man, I can't stop thinking about this girl I met yesterday, Lexi. Whenever I see her, or think about her, my heart just, kinda goes like thumpthumpthumpthump," I say, while repeatedly patting the area where my heart is, "I've never felt this way before."
Ricky and Kian share a glance, and then look back at me, faintly smirking.
"Sounds like someone is in looooove," Kian singsongs. Ricky laughs, nodding, "Or in really deep like!"
I smile, gently punching them on their shoulders, and finish up the rest of my cereal. I shoot Lexi a text, saying, "lunch 2day?", brush my teeth, and pile into Ricky's car. We drive to VidCon, Kian sitting shotgun, in silence, all of us excited for the day in front of us.
*Lexi's POV*
"So then, Matthew kinda just comes up to me, hugs me, and honks my boob! Like who does that on a first date, in front of our parents!?" McKenna says, talking about one of her many failed relationships. We are all sitting around the kitchen table, eating breakfast that James prepared. He's the cook in our group. Bacon, eggs, pancakes, sausages, you name it, he made it.
"What the fuck? At least wait for the third date!" Belle teases, earning a special slap from McKenna. Belle is wearing a John Green red tank, black jean shorts, hightop converse, and her wavy brown hair is in a pony tail. McKenna, being the girly girl she is, is wearing a pink dress that goes down to her mid-thighs, flip flops, and her hair down. James is just wearing a t-shirt and basketball shorts, typical.
I look down at my outfit, a black tank that says, "Respect the Food", tucked into a teal skater skirt, and vans. I put my dirty blonde hair into a side braid, simple and sweet. My phone buzzes in my pocket, another text from Jc, this one reading, "lunch 2day?".
I respond, "ya sure, meet u at chipotle at 12?"
He responds immediately, "great. cya then."
Remembering something, I type, "belle is coming 2, w trev, is that ok?"
"perfect. cant wait:)"
Setting my phone down, I put my dishes in the sink, brush my teeth, wait for the others, and we all go into James's pickup truck, on out way to VidCon. I couldn't wait.
