Monsters University: Part 3

They placed sleeping mats on the living room while Squishy's mom prepared the table.

May decided to make a move and talked to Mike. "Hey, um, Mike, is it?"

"Yeah... What do you need?"

"Have you ever had... friendship problems before?"

"No, not that I could think of... Why do you ask?"

"I'm just... interested, I guess."

"Ooh... Somebody's in love."

"Me? In love... with you? Puh-lease..."

"Wait a minute... I never caught your name!"

She never thought of that before! She scanned her surroundings and saw nothing. She stared up to the ceiling and announced, "Um, Celia..." She scanned her surroundings again, this time she saw a calendar with the month 'May' displayed. "...Mae! Celia Mae!"

"Well, that's an unusual name."

"I thought it was May," Don said.

"Celia MAE?!" she repeated.

"You're right..."

"I almost forgot! Are you and Sulley close friends?"

"Yes, we are! Best friends, as a matter of fact!"

"What happened before you two were best friends?"

"Why do you ask again?"

"Again, I'm interested! Now please tell me!"

"Well, we both used to be two different people, but everything changed when we were kicked out of the Scaring Program."

"Would you please tell me what happened before that?"

"Okay, here's what happened."

(A/N: For this part, you have to watch the movie 'Monsters University'. I cannot risk spoiling the movie for those who haven't watched it yet. Thank you for understanding!)

After the storytelling, all of the Oozma Kappa members, Rock and Alle were gathered on a circle. "That's when I joined Oozma Kappa, we made it to all four rounds so far. Now, our only competition is Roar Omega Roar. And I believe that we could win it!"

"I know you will," Rock said as Squishy's mom called them for dinner.

At the middle of the night, Rock was still wide awake. He couldn't stop thinking about what just happened. "Why are we here? Who is Alle? How could two monsters help us get back to our world? Are monsters even real? Or, is this all just a dream? Why is May moving? Can we live with hating each other?" So many questions were at his mind that he just wants to be answered.

Suddenly, May began to wake up as well. "Why are you up this late at night?"

Rock just ignored her and began to go to sleep.

The next day, they were roused at 12:00. "Oh no!" May yelled. "We're going to be late!"

Rock just woke up and saw Alle and the others already dressed. "Why didn't you wake us up?!" he exclaimed.

May ran to the bathroom as quick as she could and began talking a shower. "We tried many times," the monster named Art said, "You just wouldn't wake up!"

"Prepare your clothes," Alle ordered.

"Man, I hate this! When will the event start anyway?"

"4:00 in the afternoon," Sulley said.

"Seriously?"

"What?!"

After ten minutes, May got out of the bathroom and Rock soon came afterwards. By 1:00, they are both fully dressed and ready for the da-the afternoon.

There's one thought on May's mind that's bothering her: Mike and Sulley became best friends because of training. Surely, there has to be more than that.

Suddenly, their president, Don, yelled, "It's now time for us to leave!!!"

They got their bags out and ran out to the stadium. "Be careful, dear!" Squishy's mom yelled.

They entered the stadium, with Rock, May and Alle walking towards their seats.

"How are they going to help us?" Rock asked.

"They have a background story," May answered, ""The real reason they became friends. There's something about that I just want to know the answer to."

Alle eyed them up and down and announced, "They're still not best friends..."

"What?!" May exclaimed.

"I knew it..." Rock thought.

"Something's going to happen soon that will change their life forever," Alle said.

"How do you know?" May asked.

Alle ignored the question and stayed focus on the preparations for the upcoming event.

A few hours later, the host announced, "Welcome to the final competition of the Scare Games."

The crowd cheered for the event along with Alle, May and Rock.

"It's time to see how terrifying you really are, in the scare simulators!"

"But beware, each simulated scare has been set to the highest difficulty level," his co-host said.

"The highest level?" Squishy asked.

"First scarers to the starting line," the host yelled.
