They fell with another thud. "We have got to get used to these teleportations!" May said.

"You're right, where are we, anyway?" Rock asked.

The whole place seems big, a giant leaf, a gigantic tree, ants their size walking in a straight line, wait, ants their size?

"We are in the Bug's Life universe," Alle replied.

"What is that?" May asked.

"You'll know soon... By the way, where are your rings?"

"In my bag..." they answered.

"Good... wear it!"

They opened their bags and they got their rings out. They wore it and they became identical blue ants. "What the-?" yelled Rock.

"We're... ants?" May asked, confused.

"Grab a fruit and go..." said Alle.

"Why?" Rock asked.

"Just do it!"

They walked through the tall grass and found a nut lying around. "That's acceptable," Alle said.

"Why are we doing this?" May asked.

"Again, you'll know soon..."

May grabbed the nut and soon more fruits appeared. Rock and Alle grabbed two fruits and they went back to where they came from.

"What is going on?" May asked.

"She's got enough on her plate already, training her daughter," said one ant who is staring at the line.

"Oh, yes. Princess Atta, the poor dear," said another ant.

"What are they talking about?"

Alle followed the line so they soon followed forward. Suddenly, a nut was falling toward one of the ants. It fell in front of it and everybody yelled, "Princess!"

Everybody rushed to her aid, when an ant ran from the tall grass, "I'm sorry!" he yelled.

"Oh, it's Flik," said one ant.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!" yelled the ant called Flik. "Please forgive me. I'm sorry!"

"Flik, what are you doing?" asked the princess named Atta.

"Oh, this! This is my new idea for harvesting grain," Flik answered, "No more picking individual kernels. You cut down the entire stalk!"

"We don't have time for this!"

"Exactly! We never have time to collect food for ourselves."

"We spend all summer harvesting for the offering."

"But my invention will speed up production."

"Oh, another invention?"

As the two talked, Alle, May and Rock placed their fruits on one giant leaf above a rock with fruits stacked in it.

"Who is the one who will help us?" May asked.

"That ant over there named Flik," Alle answered.

"Oh, you mean the one that nearly killed that princess?" Rock asked sarcastically.

"He's your key for going home!" Alle yelled, "Then, you have no other choice!"

"What is going on, anyway?" Rock asked.

Suddenly, he could spot Flik moving to the tall grass, depressed. He grabbed both their ant elbows and yelled, "Al13!"

They walked towards Flik and saw a small ant trying to fly towards him. "Hey, Flik! Wait up!" she yelled.
