~The next morning~
Zayn
"Yeah, that sounds lovely. Tonight at nine?" I heard Liam ask as I drifted into consciousness.

I opened my eyes and looked across the bed, seeing him sitting on the edge, facing the door.

"We'll be there." He nodded.

Slowly, I sat up and looked at him. He'd already pinned back the curtains, the massive windows letting in what seemed like every bit of light the morning sun could supply.

"Alright, bye." He said, lowering his phone from his ear.

"Oh, I didn't wake you, did I?" Liam asked as turned he looked at me.

"Um, no." I replied, remembering that he kissed me last night as I glanced at his lips.

"What's going on?" I asked, stifling a yawn.

"That was my mate, he owns a club downtown and tonight is the grand opening. I thought it'd be fun to go." Liam informed me.

"Oh." I said, looking at my lap.

A club?

"If you want to, of course." He said, getting up.

"Yeah, I suppose so." I shrugged.

"What d'you want for breakfast?" He smiled, walking around to my side of the bed and sitting near me.

"M'not hungry." I said honestly, laying back down.

"C'mon, I was all prepared to cook for you and everything. The fridge is fully stocked, I was just lazy yesterday." Liam said, causing me to smile a little and look at him.

"Are you sure you're not hungry?" He asked, giving me a knowing look.

"Yeah, thank you though." I said.

Liam sighed softly, staring at me for a moment as his expression gradually changed.

"This hasn't got anything to do with last night, has it?" He asked.

"What d'you mean?" I frowned.

"You don't think things between us are different after one kiss, yeah? It's not....bothering you and affecting your appetite?" Liam asked.

"Oh, no, m'just....still full from last night, I guess." I said, sitting up again and looking at him.

He nodded, moving closer to me.

"Alright, because things aren't different. And I kissed you because I wanted to, that's it. All I want from you is your company." Liam smiled at me, making me blush.

"Well....I'm here." I said quietly, chuckling slightly.

"I know. If I kiss you again will it bother you?" He asked, gazing at me.

"I-I don't think so, no." I answered, feeling my face get even hotter.

"I was just asking cos I'm tempted to." Liam shrugged with a small smile.

"Oh." I said eventually, smiling a little.

Liam reached forward and gently moved my hair away from my eyes, his hand drifting down to my jaw as he touched his lips to mine.

The kiss was gentle and small, but was enough to steal a bit of my breath.

"What d'you want to do now, bright eyes?" He smirked at me after he leant back.

"Um...." I trailed off, distracted by the fact that he'd just called me bright eyes.

"Uh, I don't know." I said.
