Chapter One: Pick Up

Hello fellow whovians! Sorry this took so long to get the first chapter out. But it's out now so enjoy. There will be more chapters on their way! Happy Reading!!! :)

River's POV

It all starts like this: I am sitting in Storm Cage just thinking to my self when I hear it! The TARDIS! I scramble to fix my hair, grab my sonic, run out of my cell, and down the hall. My husband had finally come back after what, 3 weeks of this torture!

"Hello sweetie!" I call, just as the TARDIS materializes.

"Hello River! We don't have much time to talk we are going somewhere special!. Come on!" The Doctor just smiles and fixes his bow tie.

"Doctor where are we going?"

"You will see soon! Now hurry we have to go! Oh, and bring your vortex manipulator!" 

I run back to my cell, grab it and hurry out. There I find the Doctor talking to one of my guards. I think his name is James.

"Oh there you are! I was just telling the guard here how I was taking you out!" The Doctor excitedly.

Now James isn't one for bending rules, or negotiating for that matter.

"No she is not going anywhere. Get back in your cell Professor Song."

"Um, no thanks I'd rather go with The Doctor."

"Hello!" The Doctor waves.

"GET BACK IN YOUR CELL!" James now has his gun pointing at me, then the Doctor, and back to me.

"Whoa! No need for he gun!" The Doctor pleads with his arms up. "River, I think now is a good time to get in the TARDIS!"

"GET BACK TO YOUR CELL OR I WILL SHOOT!" James shouts.

"You wouldn't." I mock as I slip in the TARDIS.

The Doctor is right behind me running up to the TARDIS controls. The door shuts just as James releases fire. I laugh as I turn to walk up to the monitor. Watching I can see his anger turn to amazement when he notices the TARDIS didn't get hit by a single bullet. Good old girl she is!

"Some guard you've got there." The Doctor comments from somewhere behind the controls

"Yeah, not so fond of him. So where are we going?"

"To meet some people!"  He replies.

"What sort of people?"

"Oh just some old friends! Ready?"

"Ready!" I grab hold of the bar just above the controls as the doctor runs around sending us off into time and space.

"GERONIMO!"
