(1 month later)
Thomas got to the glade and asked a hundred questions but there was one that caught everyone's attention.
"Was there ever a girl here?" He asked.
Everyone shut up and Gally didn't know whether to hit something or to get upset so he remained quiet.
Newt let a few tears slipped and knew if he talked then he'd cry more.
Minho luckily was out in the maze. He runs everyday now In case something happens.
"Nope, only boys here." Chuck answered.
The boys all looked at Chuck gratefully. Even Gally which wasn't normal for him. He didn't really interact with the gladers much anymore and when he did it was his rude self.
It's better to forget than to dwell on the fact. Chuck knew that. He never knew Hazel but he felt like he did. He had a connection with the unknown girl and knew deep down they would meet again in the afterlife.
