• Jesse's POV •

As I woke up I grabbed my phone and check the time. 1 AM, gosh I love to sleep. Its Monday today, what means only 1 week until hell begins AKA high school.

I walked down stairs as I smell the smell of pancakes. When I came in the kitchen I see my lovely mother cooking blueberry pancakes.

"Good morning honey, I'm making your favorite." She says while giving me a kiss on my cheek.

"I see, thanks mom it smells delicious." I say smiling.

While I sit down on the chair my mom makes me a plate and gives it to me. I start eating and my mom grabs the chair next to me.

"Have you met the new neighbors?" She asks while reading the newspaper.

"Yes, I met Pattie yesterday. She seemed really nice, and she invited us for a dinner once they settled in." I tell my mom while eating my pancake.

"Yes, I met her and her son Justin this morning. Had a lovely conversation with them. We're having dinner at their house on Friday." She says.

I nod and continue eating my breakfast. As I finished eating, my mom asked me to go to the store and get some groceries. I tell her to write a list and go upstairs to get dressed.

I put on some ripped black skinny jeans, a white crop top, a denim blouse and my black sandals. I put my hair up in a messy bun and I put on some light make-up. I walk downstairs, and my mom gives me her list of groceries. I give her a kiss on her cheek grab my keys and phone and walk to the store.

When I walk out my door I look over to the house across the street. I see this boy looking at me. He has brown hair and these hazel brown eyes. He is wearing this grey beanie, a pair of grey sweats and a striped t-shirt. I give him a small smile and walk away to the store.

• Justin's POV •

I walk outside to grab the last few boxes that are standing outside. I'm about to pick up the boxes when I see a girl walking outside her house. She had long brown hair and beautiful green eyes. She gives me a small smile and walks away.

"That has to be that girl my mom talked about." I think to myself.

I shrug my shoulders, pick up the boxes and walked back inside.

• Jesse's POV •

I grab a shopping cart and start looking for the things I need.

Cheese, potatoes, rice, chicken, bread, milk, and ahh some nutella wouldn't hurt.

I'm only still looking for some tomato's but I can't find them. I see someone who works here so I decide to ask her.

"Um hello do you know where the tomato's are?" I ask while she turns around.

"Oh my god Jesse is that you?" she says.

"Leyla? What the hell, hey girl how are you?" I say while giving her a hug.

Leyla was my best friend since we were little, but we kind of stopped speaking because she went to another school and we kind of lost contact.

"Yea, I'm really good, how are you. I wanted to reach out to you and tell you I moved back because my dad got his old job back. I missed you so much." she says laughing.

"Yes, I missed you too we should hang out soon!" I tell her.

"I'd love that, what are you doing tonight? We can have our movie nights like we used to?" She asked me.

"Yes sure you can come to my place at 7?" I ask her.

"It's a date babe see you tonight" she says laughing.

"yayy" I squeal.

"But um can you tell me where the tomatoes are now?" I ask her laughing.

She shows me were the tomatoes are as we say goodbye. I quickly grab some popcorn and some paprika chips for tonight and I walk to checkout.

As I get home I tell my mom about Leyla and our movie night. I helped my mom putting away the groceries and then go upstairs to get everything ready for our movie night.
