Don't let them know

Chapter 3

I woke up to the sun shinning into my room knowing there was no point in staying in bed because I can never fall back asleep once I've woken up. I pushed the covers off my body and a gush of cold air hit me. I wanted to go back to bed in the warmth of my covers but I knew I had more important things to do like register into school and unpack, I got out of bed and headed over to the bathroom. I turned the hot water on and waited for it to heat up. While I was waiting I searched through the few boxes I had in my room for an outfit for today. I took out a black pair of jeans and a loose white top. I took out my leather jacket that only went as low as my rib cage, a dark red beanie and my black and white toms. I went back into my en-suit bathroom and took off my pajamas. I placed the clothes I would be wearing today on the counter top and I stepped into the steaming hot shower.

"Ah." I couldn't help but groan in pleasure as the hot water trickled down my back. I washed my hair with my favorite green apple shampoo and conditioner, I washed my body with green apple body scrub. I rinsed away the soap and conditioner and started to shave my legs. Once I had finished my shower I turned off the shower and grabbed a white towel wrapping it around my self. I grabbed another towel and wrapped it in my hair. I quickly dried off and put my clothes on that I laid out for myself. I hung the towels back up to dry and turned off the lights in the bathroom. I made my bed and straightened things up. I glanced at the clock and it read nine am. I walked over to the munchkins room to wake them up.

"Keith, Adriana time to get up." I was kneeling down beside Adriana's bed.

"Shh me sleep." Adriana muttered before turning towards the wall.

"Fine then I guess I'll have to bring back my old friend the tickle monster!" I yelled. They both bolted out of bed and ran towards the closet to get there clothes. I grinned at them.

"Shh we no here!" Keith whisper yelled at me. I laughed and went over to them to find an outfit for them each. Once they both had something warm enough on so the cold Autumn weather wouldn't give them a cold I told them to meet me at the front door. They nodded there heads and ran off. I quickly went back to my room to fetch my phone and small gray purse. I walked back down stairs to see them jumping on the couches.

"Keith! Adriana! That's enough." They both froze and looked over to me with guilty looks on their faces.

"Come on now, don't you want some food in your tummy's?" I reached my hands out for them to take. I got Keith to hold onto Adriana's hand since i needed my other hand to open and lock the front door. Making sure they had their shoes on we walked out side. I locked the house up so no one could rob us or anything. We walked down the front yard and out the gate. We were going to eat at a dinner I had seen about a block over.

"Bre?" Keith looked up at me.

"Yes little man?"

"Carry?" he put his arms up for my to pick him up. I picked him up and put him on my hip.

"Do you want me to carry you to Adriana?" I looked down at her.

"Nope. Me good." I picked up her hand again and headed over to the dinner. I heard a little chime as we walked into the dinner. A girl about my was doing something on the computer as we walked in. She looked up from what she was doing and smiled at us.

"Hi table for three?" She asked as she started picking up a menu and two kids menu.

"Yes please." I gave her a kind look. She nodded her head and lead us to our table.

"Can I get you anything to drink?" She asked pulling out a pen and notepad.

"I'll have some water and these two will have chocolate milk." The twins yelled out a quick yay and clapped their hands.
