"Okay class dismissed but don't forget to study for that test on Monday." The teacher yelled over the sound of students gathering there stuff and rushing to the door and chatting about what they were doing g during the weekend. I gathered my stuff and walked out of the class. But before I could make it out the door Tessa reached out and grabbed my arm. I looked at her tilting my head the slightest bit to the right and raised my eyebrows as I waited for her to tell me what she wanted.
"Um uh my family's out for the rest of the week and I lost my house keys can I stay at your place? If it's alright with your parents of course. It's just that I don't have any other girl friends and I don't feel exactly comfortable staying at the guys places." She rambled on.
"There's nowhere else you can go?" I sighed.
"No not really. " She looked down at her feet.
"Fine you can come. But I have to pick up my brother first." I turned around and walked towards my locker. I put in my combination and stuffed my books in my bag. Tessa leaned against the locker next to mine. I zipped up my bag and slammed my locker shut. I turned back at Tessa and we went to hers. Once we had everything we needed we headed towards my car.
We parked in the elementary school parking lot and got out of the car. I searched the play ground for him and found him playing with some other boys his age. I leaned against the fence and waited for him to finish.
"So what are we doing exactly?" Tessa asked as she leaned on the dance beside me.
"I'm just waiting for my brother to finish what he's doing then we can go to my place.
"Okay."
"Bre!" I turned my head back in the direction where Keith was and saw him running up to me with his backpack in hand.
"Hey Lil man." I walked up to him and picked him up placing him on my hip. He leaned over a kissed my cheek.
"How was school? " I asked as I placed him back on the ground. He grinned in response.
"Who's she?" he asked as he pointed at Tessa.
"Keith that's rude say your sorry." I scolded him. He looked up at me and pouted.
"I'm sorry." He pouted as he looked at the ground. I picked up his hand and walked to the car. Tessa followed me and got in the passenger side as I buckled Keith in his car seat.
"Bre now you tell me? " He asked right before I closed the door. I smiled then shut the door. I got in my seat and started the car.
"This is Tessa a friend from school. She's going to be staying the night." I told him as I buckled myself in and drove off back home. Once I parked the car I got out and help Keith out of his car seat.
"Can I come get Adriana?" He asked as I held his hand.
"I'm sorry Lil man but you need to go put your bag away." He pouted but ran towards the door.
"Tessa will you let him in please." I asked as I tossed her the house keys. She nodded her head and followed Keith. I locked the car and walked up Alec's driveway and knocked on the door.
"Just a minute!" Someone yelled from inside. I heard foot steps walking towards the door. The door opened reveling a shirtless Alec. I glimpsed at his toned muscular stomach then looked back at his eyes to see them glistening with humor.
"Done checking me out yet?" He asked in his own cocky way. I rolled my eyes and glared at him.
"Where's my sister? " I growled. He just shrugged his shoulders and walked away back into the house. I groaned at how anoying he is and crossed my arms.
