Miracles in December (A Xiuchen Fanfic)

December 8th

Kris took the M members out to eat. We went to a restaurant and ordered anything we wanted since Kris was paying. We had fun telling jokes to each other, Chen was making troll faces and playing with Tao the whole time. I finally smiled and laughed for the first time this month since Chen left the hospital. After the dinner, we went to the park and had fun at the playground. We ganged up against Kris and started throwing snowballs at him. Lay and I started making snow angels together and made a snowman only to be destroyed by Chen and Tao after we finished. Luhan was watching us while swinging by himself. He couldn't help but laugh at everything we were doing. It was such a beautiful night. We finally stopped and layed on a bank of snow. Shooting stars came flying past. "Guys, make a wish before it's too late!!" Tao said excitedly. I closed my eyes and thought of my wish. I opened them again when I was done and smiled. Luhan took my hand and squeezed them. He was happy to see me smile again. Chen also looked at me and grinned. I took his hands and closed my eyes again.

We went home in a happy mood. The K members were looking at us when we came back. They were all playing cards on the dining table. "Well, well, did the happy virus finally return to them?" Chanyeol joked. Chen chuckled a little and went over to sit between him and Baekhyun. "Well, we have to be happy since we are the beagle line." Baekhyun placed his head on his shoulder, "Well, looks like you remember who we are, congrats." "I'm still a little blurry, but I will keep fighting and get my old life back!" He said with a smile. Baekhyun wanted to say something but kept his mouth shut and looked down. Luhan flashed a worried look at me but I tried to smile to hide my sadness. Luhan then nudged Baekhyun who finally forced a smile at Chen.

I plopped down on my bed and shut the lights. I was about to sleep when Chen opened the door and came in. He was still in a happy mood, "Did I wake you, Minseok hyung?" I shook my head, "Of course not, Jongdaeah." He sat on my bed and touched my forehead. He placed a kiss on it and layed next to me. "Minseok hyung, can I sleep with you tonight?" Woah... I felt like someone just smacked me in the face. I wasn't ready for this, yes we did this before, but since it was so sudden, I was so surprised. It took me a full minute to finally nod and shared my covers with him.
