Miracles in December (A Xiuchen Fanfic)

A new beginning...

I held on to Chen's hands. We walked across the park together in the dawn of a new year. "Did you wish for anything to achieve this year?" Chen asked me with a grin. I hesitated and thought. I haven't thought about it since I've been busy trying to get over my grief after what happened. He kept his smile and nodded, "It's ok, you don't have to strain yourself. Think about it as the year goes by." I nodded back and continued on. The scenery was really peaceful like a war was finally over. Time... Does fly very fast... One minute, devastation, another reunion. I felt like someone had set this up.  

We sat on the bench and watched as snowflakes came falling down from the sky. There was a moment of silence between us for a long time. I thought about the snow globe Chen had given me. The scene in the globe was almost the same as right now, the snow falling, two lovers sitting on a bench together. There was a big Christmas tree next to us. "You know... My wish this year... was to spend more time with you." Chen said, breaking the silence. I turned to look at him and didn't say a word. "Minseok hyung... Will you be my love?" He asked and gently took my hand, "I promise you... I will protect you... Make you happy and give you everything you want." I was silent but soon, my tears came down my cheeks and I flashed a smile. Chen kept looking at me, "Hyung... Is this a yes or a no?" I hugged him tightly and started crying, "Yes... Yes, Jongdae ssi!! I promise you the same thing."

 This is my love story. This is my new beginning. The story of me and Chen.
