Such pretty sights to behold...
Daddy never specified when Shadow should come home once she was done. Course he knows she will eventually, Shadow liked to think she could stay out perhaps all night long. When she walked away from her masterpiece of course she was a little distraught. Shadow wouldn't be able to show Daddy the beautiful artwork, the pups would have washed it away before then.
Which was also another reason she was sad. Her masterpiece was going to be gone forever. But she must not stay sad Daddy wouldn't like that. So she stole a cloak from a room with many coats and furs and things she didn't even know what they were, she would have to ask Daddy about that later.
Then walked out of the theatre, into the fresh night air. Sickening really, she didn't really like the smell at all. Not the smell of asphalt and horse, nor the smell of perfumes and bakery items from little shops all over the city. No Shadow didn't like them one bit.
Even though the stench was almost unbearable she convinced herself to explore the city. Shadow never had such a chance to do so before. Thus she walked from shop to shop, even though most were closed, to see and explore all that Daddy would never be able to show her. The different sights and smells amused Shadow for no real reason at all.
Shadow soon started laughing, a beautiful sound to anyone that heard. Like an angel descended from the heavens her laugh made all those that heard bewitched. Not that Shadow herself noticed, only few people were around, most of them drunks who spent all their money and got kicked out of the pub. Which was why when they started moving closer to her, Shadow thought nothing of it.
Sensing the alcohol stench in the air it would be normal for them to stumble and act out of the normal she thought. Shadow herself moving again after laughing a bit more. The men still stumbled and fell occasionally but they all were still moving in her direction.
This caused Shadow to become aware aware of the situation. Five men were beginning to crowd around her mumbling nonsense in their drunken haze. None of them posed a real threat, she could just walk away. Or she could stay and fill her need for more bloodshed.
She was going to stay.
After all Shadow had been in the mines for along time and she wasn't aloud to harm anyone there. She was sure Daddy wouldn't mine if she indulged herself a little.
The men came closer forming somewhat of a circle around her. Shadow didn't really pay attention on their exact whereabouts she was trying to create a plan to extend their pain for as long as possible without attracting any attention from any actually sober people.
When man Number One, she called him, grabbed her arm she had to stop planning and start the fun. Man Number One smelled strongly of booze and sweat. He definitely should have taken a bath Shadow thought to herself as she grabbed the hand on her arm and twisted her body around till she was facing Number One.
Looking at him close up she could tell he was of middle class not poor but not rich either. Which would make his sudden disappearance in the future less of a hassle. Giving what she hoped was a sinister smile she squeezed the hand she still held and bent it till it popped.
The man screaming in pain after his hand being broken didn't notice her body move around to behind him until she grabbed his both sides of his head and snapped it.
Shadow pleased with herself, watched man Number One fall down to the ground in a lifeless heap.
"Now..."Shadow said licking her lips,"Who wants to be next?" She said in a husky voice. The blood lust taking over she didn't wait for a reply when she turned and looked at a boy no older then eighteen. Short blonde hair such a waste on him once she was finished.
