SRINILA

BLOODY HELL. She has not changed yet, still the same ploy. Once a wrenched woman is always a wrenched woman.

I wasn't much shocked to see Roshini in his office. I knew this would be her next plan. This is a simple one and I know she will pull even big stunts. However, I'm excited to see the drama awaiting for us.

Baby, aah. Darsh opened his mouth asking me to feed him.

I smiled and fed him the food. Soon we finished our lunch and moved to office not before warning him.

Look Mr. Srinila, you're mine and if I ever see her near you, I will not think twice to kill you. I warned him.

He cupped my cheeks and said, baby I love only you. I understand your uncertain feeling but please trust me. I can't live without you. he kissed my cheeks and linger his lips for a while in forehead. I hugged him, tight, a silent gesture of hiding him from this world.

We bid bye to each other with determination of not to let anyone ruin our relationship. I kissed his forehead and bid bye.

ROSHINI

I couldn't bear to see their faces—so radiant, so alive with joy. A flame of agitation seared through me every time their laughter mingled, every time their eyes met with that quiet certainty. How did it come to this? How did fate conspire to bring them back together when I thought I had all the power, when I was so sure I'd dismantled everything she held dear? I believed I had obliterated her peace, shattered her happiness completely — so that nothing of the old contentment could remain.

And yet... here they are, whole again, somehow healing in each other's presence. Their smiles—effortless, unburdened, full—cut right through me, razing everything I thought I'd built. Their love, uncomplicated and soft, stands in stark contrast to the chaos I once orchestrated. In their quiet moments together, I see what I lost — or what I tried to take away — and it eats at me. The cruel irony is that the very ruin I inflicted could not prevent their reunion; instead, it became the soil in which their renewed love now blooms.

Watching them together only ignited the fire to separate them at any cost. I smirked thinking of an idea.

DARSH

It was indeed a tiring day. I reached home and was waiting for My Nila to open the door.

When the door opened. I hugged her tiredly.

Baby....... I whined. Enna nee inaniki rombo short ah irruka. I asked dubiously.

Dei, that's my mom da. She yelled.

I moved immediately. So.. sorry, sorry aunty.

She glared at me and then nodded. I saw her relatives and her step dad sitting in the sofa while she was serving them the refreshments.

I went straight to her, why didn't you inform me about them, di. I chided.

I wasn't informed either, baby. I just came home and within minutes, door bell rang. I was expecting you, turned out to be them. Till now, they didn't inform me the reason for their sudden arrival. She just shrugged it off.

I held her arm.

I'll not let them take you at any cost. I said determined.

She smiled warmly and kissed my forehead.

We will face it together. She said.

As promised. I stated. Then we walked hand in hand.

Mom, you didn't tell me the reason for your sudden arrival, yet. Nila asked.

Nothing much. I agree for your marriage. I give my word. You can marry the man you love. However, I want you to come home until everything is fixed.

Something uneasy settled my chest. I tightened the grip of her hand. I will not let her leave our home. Nila smiled at her mom.

Mom, thank you so much for accepting us. We are over the moon. With months, I and darsh have lived happily. All of a sudden, I can't come just like that. He is my home, mom. Also, I have work. I can't just like that come with you, mom. Please start preparing for our wedding. I'll be there when I feel right, mom. She replied. I couldn't be more happier. I smiled

That wouldn't be right, child. This society speak ill about you, Sri. Please try to understand. This will spoil our reputation. her aunt said.

I'm sorry, aunty. It's my final decision. she said firmly. All stood up to leave.

Alright. Give me the contact number of his family. I will talk to them and plan accordingly. her mother said.

We smiled and we fell on her leg to take blessings. When I reached to her step dad. He moved back. I'm just here for her, nothing else. He stated.

I just shrugged and said okay.

Bye athai ( mother in law).

They bid bye to us.

I'm the happiest nila. She giggled. I lifted her and twirled her around. Our house filled with the music of her laughter and screams of Joy.
