I know my girl will be there to protect me. I thoroughly enjoyed the drama. Perhaps the climax was not expected. These kids gave us a shock. However, what Shakthi did wasn't acceptable. Later

Arjun and Rocky joined and gave a piece of advice to them.

Baby, what are you thinking about? My Babygirl asked me.
Just these kids. I said

Yeah, I hope shakthi gets all the happiness in the world. She replied thoughtfully.

Yeah, now I wanna make you happy. I said mischievously.
Poda porriki. She replied shyly and ran away. I began chasing her.
Soon the chase started as fun lead to romance. She threw the cushions on the couch but I dodged it off at ease.

Finally, I caught her and twirled her around. We danced to the tune of song. I leaned in to kiss her however, the song was stopped abruptly.

Yevanda avan. I turned in frustration.

Un Appan da. My father said. I just rolled my eyes and smirked at him. I stood opposite him.

Why are you, here? I asked him.

Darsh, this is not the way to talk to elders and I'm sure I've not raised you in such a way. Maybe, some unwanted relationship and people would've changed you. my mom said and I knew where is it leading to.

Before I could argue, Nila Interrupted.

Please come in, uncle and Aunty. All of you please come in. she said warmly. I smiled at her.

Only then I noticed, my entire family is here. Grandparents, rocky's parents, Arjun's parents and my brother, dhruv.

Everyone made themselves comfortable. Soon, Nila bought refreshments to all. There she is. Her mere presence brings smile on my face. I smiled at her and she reciprocated to it.

Ah! Enough of your romance brother. Dhruv teased. I glared at him while she blushed.

Grandpa cleared his throat. I understood something is wrong. I looked at Arjun and Rocky. Both assured me.

Yeppadi irruka, kanna. ( how are you, kanna). My grandpa asked me while my grandma caressed my head, lovingly. I smiled at them.

I'm good, thatha. How're you all doing? I asked them. He nodded.
Is he taking good care of you, child. Thatha asked nila.

Ofcourse! thatha. He takes good care of me. She looked at me and I winked at her.

Yeah, we saw that while entering. Rocky pointed.
Shut up, man. I said lazily.

Come let's cook. Grandma said to ladies and they pulled nila with them. She turned back to look at me. I blinked my eyes assured. I sighed watching her walk with them into kitchen.

I can sense a storm waiting for me. However, I was ready for anything to happen. We decided to prepare idly and tomato chutney. I took all the ingredients and started preparing. Grandma and Arjun mom were really sweet. They had no problem with me. Infact, they were pleased with my character but I couldn't say the same with darsh and rocky's mom respectively.

Soon, we completed the cooking. Everyone gathered to have the dinner. We decided to occupy the floor while elders were made to sit on dining table and few on sofa.

You don't even have a proper dining table. do you know the importance of, sitting together to have a meal. Darsh's mom spoke with venom.

I do aunty, and I'm pretty sure, nobody else in the room would know better than me. However, It is healthy to sit on the floor for a meal. The posture helps for easy digestion since we bend forward to have a meal, it will reduce the belly fat. So, this is much better in every way. Am I right, grandpa?

Absolutely, child. He giggled.

Mommy then you should try it. Rocky said to his mom.

Shut up. You idiot. I'm fit unlike you and your dad eating like a hungry monkey. Rocky's dad dropped the dosa he had in this hand. We all giggled.

I looked at Darsh feared if I might have disappointed him. His smile said it all. I sighed in relief.

We finished the meal with lots of banters and little romance. Darsh mom called me to our room when I came back after washing hands.

So, is this your room? Aunty asked me. I nodded.

Then where do darsh live. She asked. I hesitated but replied.
We both live in the same room.

Don't you feel ashamed to say this? We have a good reputation in our village, I don't want it to be tarnished because of you. I know my son better. He wouldn't do all this. Why did you influence him?

Is this how your parents raised you.

STOP right there, aunty. Do not drag my parents in this.

Don't you dare raise your voice. Do you think he will still be here if I say no. In a flicker of time, I can take him back with me. She spitted the words.

I'm making it clear, aunty I have no intention of separating darsh from you. we both love each other, desperately, hence we decided to stay together. There is nothing more, nothing less. I cleared.

Whatever you say, I'm taking him back with me. Wait and watch. She challenged me and moved out of the room.

However, this statement actually instilled fear in me. The fear of losing him again. I do trust him, our love and US but the thought of losing him again shattered my heart.
