The lifeless animated Construct known only as Marlina, awakened in a world at odds from deep lingering scars of conquest and malice, seeks a home where she can belong.

Out of all of the Colonial men that Adelina had captured, there was one in particular who stood out from the rest. The Urushians she sent to check the wreckage of the many aircraft found him bound, locked, and crammed inside a metal crate within one of them. When they saw his strange body, they were appalled to say the least, but he was taken back to Volkaunus regardless.
When food was given to him, he refused it. While the others were given first aid for the rough landings, Fire healing techniques didn't work on him. Once word of this reached Adelina, and she heard how her people described him, it sounded oddly familiar. Taking a moment to speak with Aurea and the others, they come to the same unsure conclusion and ask if they may meet him.
Since he tried to force his way out after being released from the crate and shackles, he was kept in a separate cell. In an interrogation room of a building where Adelina has been holding Colonials she captured over the years before releasing them, the trio makes their way to the cell. When they approach, they find Anton sitting on the cot, tapping the back of his head against the stone walls in frustration, producing a metallic sound.
Looking at him, with his bright orange hair, the gaps revealing petals of the same shade as his hair, and monochrome servant clothes, the similarities are almost uncanny. What also catches their eye is an orange rose boutonniere, similar to Marlina's necklace, resting on his vest.
"Excuse me, may we speak with you?" Aurea asks.
Anton pauses, his green eyes looking up and down the three of them one by one, his brow raising at the sight of Aurea.
"Would I even have the right to say no?" He asks.
"Can we ask why you were in the desert?"
Anton's brow furrows. "What business is that of yours?"
"Just answer the question, and you might get out of this cell," Mordecai says as he crosses his arms.
Anton's eyes narrow at him, sitting slightly forward. "I was looking for someone."
"Would that be Marlina, by any chance?" Tessa asks.
The three jump back as he leaps from the cot and grabs onto the bars, making a loud clang. "You guys know Marlina?!"

"Okay, just give me a second to get this straight..." Anton groans as he mulls over the details, pacing in circles around Adelina's chamber while the others watch him. "You're telling me that a monster gobbled Marlina, you guys saved her, had her stick around until that psychopath nabbed one of your friends, and you let her go to be a servant in his house?! Are you out of your minds?!"
Tessa tries to calm him down. "She offered to go try and help Elek, and we made sure she wasn't recognizable. It was our only option at the time."
"And you just let her do it on her own?!" Anton snaps back. "You know what that bastard did to me? He tried to kill me by having me fall off a building, and then he burned me!"
