Once I woke up from my slumber in a new room that I still have to get used to, I walked downstairs to the smell of bacon and eggs. It was Monday and I needed to unpack everything that's going to be delivered today. Not only do I have more unpacking to do in this new area, I have a new school to go to today to. I spent the whole weekend unpacking everything so I am majorly sore from moving from heavy box to heavy box.
I'm so glad that this new school doesn't have a dress code or anything crazy like my old school. After I was done eating my breakfast that mom cooked for Jason and I, I went up stairs to my own bathroom connected to my bedroom and got ready. I wanted to make a good impression on my first day here so I curled my hair and put on some eyeliner, mascara, and chapstick. When I was done with my hair and make up I moved to my closet to pick out my outfit.
I decided to wear my favorite 3/4 white shirt that has small black stripes on it with a pair of black skinny jeans. Some bracelets to go with my outfit and a couple rings and I was done getting ready. "Mom I'm going to school now I'll be back around 4 or 5 okay?" When I didn't get an answer back I knew she had already gone and dropped off Jason then to work right after.
On a normal day in Texas I would usually walk to school or have my friend drive me, but I have to ride the bus to school since I don't know my way around Sydney just yet. I plugged in my earbuds and walked towards the bus stop. I saw a couple kids there around my age so I guess I'm in the right place so far. Just when I stopped walking the bus came, I walked up the stairs and tried to pick out a decent seat. "New girl alert!" Right when I heard that everyone was starring at me up and down.
Well this isn't awkward at all, hopefully I will make some friends before lunch time so I have somewhere to sit. I've never been through being the new girl stage in so long that I had almost forgotten what it had felt like. Once we arrived at school I walked down the hallways with everyone looking at me. Great, I'm the center of attention now, I don't like it. People were glancing at me and whispered to their friends, I wonder what the big fuss is about. Yeah I'm the new girl, doesn't mean it's nice to stare at me.
"Hey are you new around here? I'm Char and the headmaster asked me to show you around school. Is that okay?" A girl with a short skirt and obviously dyed hair and high heels walked up to me. Who wears high heels to school? Wont that like kill your feet? But since I didn't know the halls of this school yet I had to accept her offer. And besides, I don't know her, she could be nice, I'm just being too judgmental. "So here we have the cafeteria, library, the red and blue gyms, fine arts hallway, counselors offices, etc" Here let me see your timetable and this would go a whole lot faster." She had her hand reached out towards me and I looked at her curiously. "What's a timetable?" I've never heard of the term timetable before so I was kind of hoping she wouldn't laugh in my face because I didn't know what it was.
"Oh, you're new in Aussie, forgot my bad hahaha. A timetable is the piece of paper that shows you your classes for the day. It's like a schedule from where you come from." She politely smiled at me and I now understood what it was. "Oh, okay um here." I took out my "timetable" as they would say and showed it to her. "Hey we have a couple classes together, do you want me to lead you to them?" I nodded my head yes because I really suck at remembering directions around here.
My timetable consisted of Science for 1st period, English 2nd period, Math 3rd period, Art 4th period, Lunch 5th period, Dance 6th period, History 7th period, and Health 8th period. Not that bad, I was okay in science class it wasn't my worst subject. After Char showed me where to go from there she walked off to find the rest of her friends. Well okay, that didn't take long to ditch me... So now I am back to being alone in this hell hole with no friends.
I was walking down the hallways on my way to science class when I bumped into a wall. Scratch that, it was a guy and he is pretty cute to, so are the rest of his friends that were behind him. "Oi mate watch where you're going!" The guy with dark brown hair looked down at me with a glare. He was wearing a black band muscle shirt with some black skinny jeans and white converse. "Calm down lad I'm sure she didn't mean to bump into you." The guy with the shaggy curly light brown hair and beautiful hazel eyes said behind him. The other two teenage boys were standing behind the guy I ran into, one had blonde hair, and the other had colored hair.
