Reyansh's POV

I never thought the clumsy, carefree girl I’m in love with was carrying so much pain inside her. Nobody would believe it if they saw her smile. The way she treats people with kindness, the way she laughs, it’s impossible to guess the storms she has survived. But I’ve seen it now. I’ve heard the tremble in her voice. She was just a child when life started carving scars into her. My woman went through hell. And I swear, I will never let anything touch her again. Not now. Not ever.

Her head is resting on my shoulder, her breath finally calming down. My fingers are buried in her hair, caressing gently, hoping to soothe every pain she has gone through. She cried so much today that I almost lost my mind when she had that panic attack. I need to talk to Dr. Abhishek, the man who once pulled me out of my own darkness. Maybe he can help her heal too.
Enough of the trauma. Enough of the thorns. From now on, she’ll have only softness, only light. Everything she lost I’ll give it to her.

“Reyansh” she whispers, lifting her head just a little.

“Yes, little kitten?” I murmur back. That nickname always draws a small smile to her lips. My baby. My little kitten.

“What are you thinking?” Her voice trembles, afraid I might leave her As if I ever could. I will burn the whole world before I had let anyone separate us.

She can't leave me even she wanted to because I am madly in love with her.
Call me obsession lover I won't mind because I know I am. For my little kitten.

“Nothing. How are you feeling now?” I asked her softly which comes out only for her, stroking her cheek.
She leans into my touch saying “Hmm… a little better”

I hum, then speak again, choosing my words carefully.
“Listen, I know you’ve been through a lot. I’m not asking you to forget it completely, but can you try to leave it behind? I want you to be happy.
Itha, I was thinking you should see someone for your panic attacks. Not because of what you told me tonight I'm  worried about your health. Seeing you like that scared the hell out of me. Please?”

Her eyes flicker toward me, searching my face. She’s quiet for a moment before nodding. “I know. Even I was thinking about it. I’ll see a doctor once…” she trails off, gaze falling to her hands.

“You don’t have to feel shame. It’s okay. My woman is stronger than she thinks.” I tilt her chin, and in her eyes something shines a flicker of trust, of hope or maybe something I couldn't decipher.

I remember the day I found her ex and beat him to the ground. Everything I said then was true. she’s mine, she’s my honour. But I forgot she was there too, watching, and she might have caught a glimpse of my feelings. She never asked me about it, but she notices everything. She always does.

“Itha” I clear my throat. “If you feel low no matter the time is just call me. I’ll come to you. No matter how small the reason. Okay?”

“Yeah” she whispers.

Good. And stop thinking you’re not enough or that you’re a burden. You’re not. You’re the soul who heals other souls.” I cup her chin, my thumb brushing her bottom lip.

“Reyansh… how did I become so lucky? I don’t deserve you” she says, her voice breaking as tears gather again.

“Shhh… bachaa, don’t cry. Look at me. I’m the lucky one. You deserve everything every small thing. Stop thinking low about yourself” I say softly but the last words come out firm.

“I’m sorry… I’ll remember that. Thank you for coming into my life. I never got to tell you, but I’m really happy I met you. That first day, everything is still clear in my mind. Reyansh… thank you so much.”
