Say You Love Me

Chapter 4

Levi looked Petra in the eyes, "Are you serious?" She smiled and started giggling.

"Of course I am, we could decorate our own apartment, I could paint the walls... What do you think of turquoise? We could spend nights together without any interruptions..." She winked and him and giggled again.

He took a moment to think and then turned to her, "What's a turquoise?"

She sighed, "I don't know why I bother."

Levi stood from the couch, they were in Petra's living room because he refused to go up to her bedroom for multiple reasons. They have been together for a whole year yet they haven't gone all the way yet. "I have to go."

Petra sat up and glared, "I thought you were free today." Levi shrugged his shoulders and picked his bag up. "Where are you going?"

Levi sighed and turned to her, "I need to go home and study for, em... stuff."

She stood beside him with her arms folded, "Stuff?"

Levi knew she wouldn't let him leave so he put his arms around her and whispered in her ear, "I promise I'll call you later babe, okay?" He kissed her cheek and stood back with a smile on his face.

Petra blushed, "Okay then." He said goodbye and left her house. Man I'm good he thought to himself. Now to go home and annoy Mikasa. Levi hoped that her friend was over.

"I don't get it." Mikasa sighed and slammed the book closed. After explaining the maths question to Eren about ten times he still didn't understand. "Its not my fault!" Eren exclaimed.

Mikasa glared at him, "Maybe pay attention in class." Eren closed his book and stuck his tongue out at her. "Oh, very mature."

Mikasa got up from the kitchen table to get a drink. "I'm very mature." Eren told her.

Mikasa laughed at him. She noticed Levi walking down the hallway and smiled, "So Eren, did you tell the doctor about your diarrhea?"

Eren turned to her, "Bitch, what?" Levi walked into the kitchen and laughed at him. Eren's whole face went red as he glared at Mikasa who was laughing. He turned to Levi, "I don't have diarrhea."

Levi put his bag on the counter and smiled, "Don't worry, you should see Mikasa after Chinese food." Mikasa slapped him over the head and he pushed her away.

Levi sat in the chair beside Eren and he tried not to squeel. Mikasa looked at her phone, "Shit I gotta go."

Eren looked up at her, "Why?" He started panicking about being alone with Levi.

"Mom wants me to get grapes." She said and got her bag from the table.

Eren knew she was lying, she was trying to do him a favor. "Grapes?"

Levi laughed, "Are you sure sis?" Mikasa nodded her head.

"Toodle-doo." She blew a kiss at Eren and walked out while laughing.

Eren could have killed her. Levi turned to him, "Are you two dating?"

Eren gave him a horrified look, "God no." Levi started laughing, he had the sexiest laugh ever.

"Okay I was just wondering." Levi smiled. He was leaning in pretty close, if only the table wasn't between them...

"Do you have a girlfriend?" Levi didn't know why he was asking these questions.

Eren shook his head. "No, I don't" God Eren speak more the man of your dreams is asking you questions about relationships! He decided to ask him a question, "You're with Petra right?"

Levi nodded but had a frown on his face, "Yeah but, I don't think its gonna last very long." He had no idea why he was telling Eren this stuff, he doesn't even tell Mikasa these things.

Eren frowned, "Why not?" Levi looked down at his hands that were placed on the table.

"She's just..." He looked up at Eren and felt his heart flutter. He looked so concerned even though they didn't know each other that well. "I, em..."

Levi's phone rang and he took it out of his pocket. It was Petra. "I'm sorry I have to take this."

Eren smiled, "It's okay." Levi got up and answered it.

"Hello?" He walked into the living room.

"Levi, you never called." Petra complained.

"Petra I literally just got back." Levi sighed in frustration.

"Well, I'm more important than some stupid studying. What do you want in life, a career or a beautiful girlfriend?"

Levi couldn't believe what he was hearing so he just hung up and put his phone on silent. He made his way into the kitchen where Eren was looking at a maths book. "Were you guys studying?"

Eren nodded, "I can't understand it though."

Levi smiled and sat beside him, "I could help you if you want." Eren smiled at him and Levi thought it was the cutest smile he had ever seen.

They spent the day together learning maths and getting to know each other better. Levi had 63 missed calls from Petra but it was all worth it when Eren hugged him just before he walked home.
