Say You Love Me

Chapter 3

Levi tried to drown out the sound of his nagging girlfriend and listen to his professor, Mr. Smith. Levi has been in college a whole year now but sadly Petra had chosen the same course as him. They were studying mythology, Levi had always been fascinated by it. This week Mr. Smith was telling them about Titans and Levi couldn't focus with Petra in the room.

"She called yesterday again and kept going on and on about her boyfriend, I mean, how am I not going to be annoyed, you know?" Levi nodded as she ranted.

The bell rang and Petra pecked him on the cheek. "I'll see you at work later okay?" Levi nodded again and collected his things.

As he made his way towards the door Mr. Smith stopped him, "Levi could you stay a minute?" Levi stood at the desk Mr. Smith was at.

"How are you feeling lately?" He asked with a look of concern on his face. Levi was taken aback, he never spoke to his teachers about things other than work.

"I'm fine, can I ask why?" Mr. Smith sat up straight and looked him in the eyes.

"If Petra is too chatty, you don't have to sit next to her." He smiled.

Levi laughed, "I'll keep that in mind Professor."

Mr. Smith stood and started packing books into his bag. He turned to Levi, "If you ever have any problems, you can tell me." He put his bag on his shoulder and walked towards the door with Levi. "And feel free to call me Erwin." He smiled and walked down the hallway. Levi stood there watching for a moment and then turned to leave.

"Did your mom say anything?" Mikasa, Eren, Jean and Marco sat in "Hanji's Coffee Shop" where Levi and Petra worked. They had just gotten back from their second day of school that went pretty well. Except for Annie bumping off Eren in the hallway, but other than that there was no fighting.

"No she didn't notice I was in a fight." Eren replied. He looked around the busy coffee shop for Levi but couldn't find him.

Jean started laughing, "Sorry we just left you there I didn't even see them coming."

Eren smiled at him, "That's okay." There was still no sign of Levi.

"I bet if I was there they would have run away in fear." Jean boasted.

"Yeah sure." Eren noticed Levi come out of the staff room with an apron on.

"Well all Eren did was try get himself killed, as usual." Mikasa snapped her fingers in Erens face to get his attention.

"They wouldn't have killed me Mikasa." Eren told her.

"I'm gonna end up killing one of you if you don't leave." They looked up to see Levi standing at there table. Eren made a weird noise in the back of his troat and covered his mouth. "You might wanna get that checked out kid."

Mikasa sighed, "We have a right to be here."

Levi shook his head, "Why do you have to be so annoying? And your friends are even worse." He turned to Eren, "Except that one."

"That one has a name." Mikasa said. Eren was blushing.

Levi smiled at him, "Aren't you the one who got in a fight yesterday?"

"Y-yeah" Eren managed to say.

"He got his ass kicked." Jean laughed.

Eren glared at him. "Shut up horse face."

Levi laughed at him, "Do you guys even drink coffee?"

"Do you have milk?" Jean asked.

"No."

"But-"

"No." Levi left the table. Eren started laughing at Jean.

"Seriously, what kind of coffee shop doesn't serve milk?" He asked. Marco kissed him on the cheek and laughed.

"Can Eren stay the night?" Mikasa asked her mom. They had been studying after finally getting coffee and it was too dark out to walk home.

"No." Levi threw a piece of paper at her. Their mom glared at him and he ran over to pick it up. "I was joking..."

"Yes he can." She said and Mikasa smiled.

"Thank you". She went back upstairs to her room where Eren was watching America's Next Top Model. She closed the door and laughed, "Are you really watching that?"

Eren looked at her, "I wanna see the candid photoshoots they do." He looked back at the screen again.

Mikasa laughed and sat beside him on the bed. "Whatever." She picked up her Elle Magazine and started flicking through it. A few minutes passed by and she looked up at Eren, "Do you like Levi?"

Eren turned his head around slowly and looked her dead in the eyes, "No."

She smiled at him, "Oh, okay." Eren turned back to the TV again. "It just seems like he likes you."

Eren bounced up with a smile on his face, "Really?! Does he say things about me?"

Mikasa laughed, "I knew it! Since when are you gay?"

Eren shrugged, "Always I guess."

She smiled and hugged him, "So now you're my gay best friend."

He shoved her off "Don't be weird about it." He smiled and turned to the TV again.

"I think Levi's bi." Mikasa said with a smile.

Eren turned to her, " He's what now?"

"He always looks at guys the same way he looks at girls and honestly, whenever he's with Petra he gets really angry and mean but when he's with us he's happy and constantly staring at you..."

Eren squealed like a twelve year old girl. "Don't tell anyone, especially horse face."

Mikasa laughed, "I won't but, you need to start coming over more to get his attention. I can imagine you two together, no Petra... Sounds amazing."
Eren agreed and they spent the rest of the night planning out cheesy things Eren could say to him and laughing.
