Fugaku and Sasuke

Sasuke's POV

The three tomes of Onii-san's sharingan...they revolve counter-clock wise like an eerie clock when I suddenly realize, the tomes have connected with Itachi's pupil. This was not the sharingan. What was happening?

Itachi's POV

I walk straight past Sasuke and I deliberately ignore his horrified look. I have achieved one of my goals, the mangekyo sharingan. I can have more ability to protect Konoha this way...the cost for obtaining those eyes however...I shake my head and I march on. Behind me I hear frightened scuttles of feet, Sasuke.

I follow father's retreating back into the open courtyard to see Rin pacing around angrily.

Father stops and he beckons for Rin to come towards him. Did he see Rin attack the three Uchiha?

"The result of your actions did not escape my eyes," father shouts suddenly. I can hear a frightened squeak escape Sasuke from behind me.

Rin doesn't speak and keeps her eyes glaring somewhere else. I noticed she is shaking.

"What are you thinking?" yells father, and his sharingan flares dangerously, "What if they discovered you? Then what would happen-"

Rin's gaze snaps to father's and her eyes are glowing golden. She was challenging father, "If you think that I give a care in the world," she sneers, "then you are mistaken. Your words have as much effect on me as a pathetic breeze passing over my skin."

"H-how dare you!" barks father, "I'm your father-"

"What's your definition of 'father' then!" screams Rin, "A man who does nothing for his children?! When are you my 'father' exactly? I have never seen you look at me with a look other than disgust! I lived an isolated life because of you! I had no friends because of you!"

"And then I let you, you ungrateful-"

"Only because others pressed you to do so! If you have the nerve to treat me that way, then maybe you should just kill me!"

"How selfish!"

"Fine!" snaps Rin, "What about Itachi then! You saw how those three bastards were like! Why were you on their side?! You think Itachi can always just stand there while being bombarded by the whole arrogant lot of you?! Is he nothing more than a backbone?" Rin jabs a finger at father, "And what about Sasuke then? Always trying to get your approval as your son yet you always toss him aside said he was an object that you could always inspect later?!"

Rin throws her arms in the air, "When will you start living up to your role as a father?!" Rin turns spitefully around and she yells behind her shoulder, "And you!" Rin glares at me, "Get a backbone!" Rin storms off and I can hear her slide the door to the living room violently.

I stare...get a backbone? What was she talking about?

"First Itachi and now Rin..." mutters father angrily, "why is only Sasuke left?"

I change my expression to an impassive stare and I walk past father. I enter my room and I stare out the window...Shisui...what would you do in a situation like this...

Sasuke's POV

~Evening

A new sharingan... That was no normal one....And after they event...it's been really awkward. Father refuses to talk with Rin and Onii-san, and they respond like-wise. I really hope this is over soon...

Rin's POV

That bastard father of mine.

I watched from the roof of the colonnade and I peer down to see Sasuke quietly padding along on the wooden floor. He suddenly stops and I follow his slightly frightened gaze. Itachi was approaching him. I watch Itachi carefully and I wait for the moment when they cross over each other.
