On a nice rainy day, there was a girl. She always wore a nice white dress and white flats. She lived in a house with no windows. It was always dark and never bright in the house. She was forbidden to ever leave the house by her aunt. She listened to her rules which were:
1.) Never go outside without permission.
2.) Never talk to strangers.
3.) Never answer the door.
4.) Stay in your room till told to come out.
And with that she was always safe and happy. But one day she felt like she wanted to go outside. She always read books about the outside world. She heard of the adventures people went on around the world. She never saw the nice bright sun on her skin but she wishes to see the outside world. She has never seen any other color but white, gray and black. She's heard of a rainbow with multiple colors of bright blue and green with red and yellow and she wished to see it. One day she became ill with a horrible illness. She became so weak that she could barley walk around. Her aunt helped her up off her bed and brought her to the door. The girl was confused and wondered what her aunt was doing. Her aunt opened the door and walked the girl outside. The girl squinted her eyes but soon she had adjusted to the brightness and what she saw made her smile so bright. What she saw in front of her was a beautiful rainbow in the sky and green grass and the bright warm sun. She stayed out there for hours enjoying the scenery. The next day the girl was put into a nice white dress that she normally wore. Her aunt was in a nice black dress with black heels. It was raining that day and everyone was gathered for the girls funeral and on her tomb it said:
Faith Joy Freedom
12 years old
Born: 2/14/2001 - Died: 3/14/2013.
But they all new that the girls dream finally came true. For she was finally Free and is able to forever see the Light like how she Dreamed to See.
The End
