Time is an enemy people would say, who would take away everything you loved, but really Time only wanted to be loved. No one ever met Time nor did they ever want too. My name is Timothy Greene and this is the story of my friend Fredrick Time, a caring man who only did what was right to people even if it hurt them.

"Timothy get back inside, the thunderstorm is approaching, it's too dangerous to play outside right now." Called the house mother. 'I never really liked her, she would always tell me to go play with the girls even though she knew I was the only boy in the orphanage.' I thought before I ran out in the rain not caring if I got wet or not. It always rained in London so it was hard to play outside. Not paying any attention to where I was going I bumped into a funny looking fellow, he didn't mind or yell at me like everyone else but instead apologized. He wore a dark blue, long coat that stopped at his knees, grey shirt and pants topped with a blue top hat and a silver pocket watch daggling from his pants. After that incounter I didn't see him for a while.

One faithful day, I guess luck was finally on my side. That same man came in to adopt me. I told the man that my name was Timothy Greene and he said," Good to meet you Mr.Greene, my name is Fredrick Time, but you can call me Time." That day Time took me home to a clock shop and told me all the things to know about clocks and how he said that everyone is like a living clock that ticks. It was funny to think about, but he was such a nice man.

Growing up in London with Time made me here horrible things people would say how he was such a bad man, steeling the life from people and filling my head with nonsense. I couldn't believe it, that I ran straight home in the rain, but I guess I should have looked before I crossed and soon I found my self on the ground in the wet streets as it rained. I was rushed to a hospital and was quickly rushed into surgery. After they were done I woke up to see Time standing next to me. I smiled and told him," I guess it's time that my clock ticks its last Tock." Time only chuckled with a smile on his face and a tear rolled down his face. The last words I spoke to him were," You will always be my friend, Fredrick Time."
