Hello, my name is Orion and I love the stars. People thought they were boring to look at. But there's something more to them. Where I live, there are always cold winds at night, so I wear a blue scarf at night to keep me warm. My older brother, Lucas, doesn't care about the stars. We don't have any thing in common besides trying to help our younger sister, Luna. You see, Luna is blind and she can't see what stars look like or what I look like.  I was almost born blind but I do wear glasses. Our mother died after Luna was born.  But not only did we lose someone we loved but Luna lost something she needed. Our father works day and night in the field and Lucas also helps. Our aunt Mary always tries to move me and Luna to the city because it's safer but it's not true. I can't work in the field but only in the barn with the animals and after that, I watch over Luna, but she usually plays with our cat, Shadow, while I play with our dog, Spirit. But I do go to school like a normal child.

One day when I came home, I noticed that our truck was gone so I thought that Lucas went out. When I got inside I was greeted by both Shadow and Spirit. I saw Lucas sitting on the couch praying and tapping his foot but when he heard the door shut he looked up. I was confused. He told me that dad and Luna went into town to do something. He didn't tell me until an hour passed when he then started to make dinner. He told me that dad went to take Luna to the doctors to fix her eyes. Soon dad returned home and Luna ate but dad fed her the food, even if she is eight years old. She was wearing some type of bandage over her eyes, but then dad whispered something in my ear about taking her to the hill tonight. And that's what I did. When we got up there I told Luna to look up and I asked if she could see anything and she said no. So I took the badge off of her eyes and then she said, wow. She was so happy. She came right up to me and gave me a huge hug. She told me that there so bright and beautiful, but I told her, "Your the most beautiful and brightest Star I have ever seen through my eyes.
