Rachels pov :
I was picking Rosie up fron school today when one of the moms in the class said , "Rachel have you met you met Jake , very cute and single dad." Jessica said. I smiled and said, "No I have not and I'm not going too." I told her. "Too late he's already coming " She said and walked away . I smiled at the brown haired blue eyed man. "Hi." He said. "Hi." I said. "My names Jake Morris , and I know this is awkward but the um other moms kinda pushed me over here." He told me. I smiled slightly and said, "Nice to meet you Jake , I'm Rachel Berry and I completely get it moms can be that way." I told him. "You have a beautiful smile ya know that. " He said. "Why thank you ." I said. "So which ones yours?" He asked me . "See the one on the swing set thats her." I said pointing to Rosie. "What about you wheres yours?" I asked him. "The one next to yours that's her." He said . "Oh Gracie's dad I don't know why I haven't met you before." I said. "Probably her mom usally picks her up did I mention I'm divorced. " He said. "Oh I'm sorry that's awful. " I said. "What about Rosie's dad is he in the picture?" He asked me. "Yeah but were not together." I said. "Divorce?" He asked me. "No Rosie was kind of a unexpected but amazing suprise she's my world and I wouldn't trade that for anything. " I said. He smiled at me , "Would you maybe like to go to dinner with me tonight ? Theres this little Italian Restaurant thats really good and I would like to take you there." He said. I smiled and said, "Okay. I'll have one of the moms give you my address." I said. "Great." He said . "Daddy!Daddy!" Gracie yelled and jumped into his arms. "I should go." He said. "I'll see you tonight ." I said and he smiled and left. I smiled and Rosie walked over to me . "Hi mommy. " She said. "Hi sweetie how was school?" I asked her. "Good , why were you talking to Mr.Morris?" She asked me. "Well sweetie , he asked me out on a date." I said. "Whats a date?" She asked me. "Well a date is when two people who like eachother decide to go out and get to know about eachother. " I told her. "Did you go out on a date with daddy when you were with him?" She asked me. "Well yeah." I said. "I can't wait to go on my first date." She said. "Please don't rush it just stay little forever ." I told her. She smiled and gave me a kiss . "So who's going to babysit me tonight?" She asked as we got into the cab. "Well I thought maybe Uncle Kurt and Uncle Blaine. " I said. "Oh! Oh! Can daddy watch me tonight?" She asked me. "You know honey I don't...." "Pleaseeeeee......." She begged . "Okay fine but we have to call first. " I said. "Yay! " She said and we drove home.
