Chapter 20
Finns pov :
I was at home doing some cleaning up when my phone rang . I looked at it and saw it was Rachel. "Hello?" I said. "Hey Finn its Rachel." She said. "Oh hey whats up?" I asked her. "Well actually are you available tonight?" She asked me. "Yeah for what? " I asked her. "Well I kinda need you to come over and babysit Rosie." I said . "Oh sure why? " I asked her. "Well I have a date tonight. " I said. "Oh , I didn't know you were dating again. " I said kinda hurt. "Well I sorta am this is really my first date in a while since I had Rosie but I just kind of need someone to babysit her can you do it?" She asked me. "Oh um ya when should I be there?" I asked her. "He should be here around 6 so is 5:50 good ?" She asked me. "Yeah I'll see you soon okay." I said. "Okay. " She said. "Oh and Finn." She said. "Yeah Rach? " I asked. "Thank you." She said. "No problem. " I said and hung up.

I knocked on Rachels apartment door. "Hold on ." She said and came down the stairs . I smiled as I saw her in the little black dress. "Hi." She said. "Hi. " I said memorized by her beauty. "Do you think its too much?" She asked me. "No you look beautiful. " I said. "Thank you. " She said. "So can I come in?" I asked her. "Right come on in." She said. "So wheres Rosie?" I asked her. "She is upstairs playing with her dolls." She said. "I'll go get her." She said and went upstairs. 10 minutes later the door bell rang . "I'll get it!" I yelled to Rachel upstairs and opened the door . I opened the door to see a brown haired brown eyed smuck at the door holding a dozen pink roses . "Hi is this Rachel Berrys apartment? " He asked me. "Yeah come on in." I said. "I'm Finn Hudson , Rosies dad." I said. "Oh so your the guy that let Rachel go." He said. "Actually its the other way around." I told him. Before he could say anything though Rachel came down and said, "Jake your here." She said . "Wow Rachel you look stunning ." He told her. "Why thank you ." She said. "And I can see you brought pink roses." She said. "Yeah one of the moms said that you would like them ." He told me . "Well thank you their beautiful I'll go put them in some water." She said and went to go grab a vase. There was a moment of awkward silence and them she came back and said, "Ready?" "After you." He said. "Let me just get Rosie. " She said. "Rosie I'm leaving!" She yelled loudly . Rosie then came down and said , "Mommy what time will you be home?" She asked her . "10 o'clock but I expect you to be good for your daddy okay and keep an eye on him. " Rachel said. "Okay mommy." She said. "Good now give me a hug and kiss." Rachel told her and Rosie gave her a hug and a kiss on her cheek. Rachel looked at me and said , "Okay so I have money on the counter for pizza , Rosies bedtime is 8:30 no sugar after 7:00 and she usally reads a bedtime story her favorite is Cat and the Hat . And please if you need anything at all you have my number and I left emergency numbers up on the fridge." She told me. "Relax Rach. I can handle this it'll be easy." I told her. "Okay I'll be home by 10." She said. "Make it 10:30 go have fun." I said . "Okay bye sweetheart. " She said to Rosie. "Bye mommy. " Rosie said and they left . I smiled and looked at Rosie . "Wanna watch a movie?" I asked. "Nope wanna play horsey?" She asked. "How do I do that?" I asked. "Simple bend down. " She said . I bent down and she jumped on me and said "Go horsey go!"
