Chapter 22
( the next day)
Finns pov :
I woke up the next morning in Rosies bed with a princess crown on and pearls. I smiled when I saw Rosie sitting next to me . "Goodmorning daddy." She said . "Goodmorning princess." I said. "Mommys making pancakes come on!" She said. I got up and followed her. "Goodmorning Princess Rosie , Princesss Finn." Rachel said. "Haha very funny. " I said taking off the crown and necklace. "So how was your date?" I asked her. "It was nice it felt good to get myself out there again." She told me. "You think you might go out with him again?" I asked her. "I don't know. " She said. "Oh , well I'm happy for you." I said. She smiled and said, "Thanks." She said. "For what?" I asked her. "For just being there." She said . I took her hand and said, "Hey thats what friends are for." I said. She smiled and for a moment I thought she was going to make a move . Instead she let go of my hand and said , "So does Malory know you're here?" She asked me. "No um she's away on business. " I told her. "Oh have you guys started planning for the wedding?" She asked me. "No not really." I said. "Oh okay ." She said. "Well I should probably go." I said. "Wait do you want to stay for breakfast?" She asked me. "Uh I don't know. " I said. "Oh come on I made chocolate chip pancakes." She said . "Plus Rosie would love it she adores you." She told me . "Okay. " I said giving in. "Great. " She said. "So I was thinking ." I said. "About what?" She asked me. "Well how would you feel about me making a room for Rosie so she could stay over on the weekends." I said. "Oh wow um . I guess it be okay she's never really been anywhere without me though. " She said. "I know but I just thought maybe we could try it out I mean I am her father." I said. "I'll think about it okay." She said. "Okay. " I said. She went back to making pancakes when I said , "Why don't you trust me? " I asked. "What?" She said . "Why don't you trust me with Rosie?" I asked her. "Of course I trust you Finn its just....nevermind." She said. "No what!" I said. "I don't trust Malory. " She said blankly. "Why not?" I asked. "Because I think she's a bad influence on Rosie ." She said . "What thats suppose to mean?" I asked. "Nothing just drop it okay." She said. "I won't drop it Rachel. Why don't you trust her?" I asked. "Because Finn I hate her ! She is awful to you and I don't want my kid around that. " She said. "She's not just yours Rachel I'm her dad. " I said. "I've been with her for 6 6 years and 9 months Finn. I'm her mother and I determine what happens and you have no say." She said . "Wow Rach. I can't believe you. " I said hurt and left .
