Rachels pov :
"So." I said. "So." Jake said. "Tell me about yourself." I said to him as we walked into the park. "Well what do you want to know?" He asked me. "Well what do you do for a living? " I asked him. "I am a professor over at NYU." He told me. "Really what do you teach?" I asked. "I teach music therory 101." He told me. "What about you?" He asked. "What about me?" I asked him. "Oh come on what does the great Rachel Berry do ?" He asked me. "Well I work as a choir teacher. But before that I was on broadway. " I said. "Oh really what did you play in?" He asked me. "Well I was Fanny Brice in Funny Girl. " I told him. "Wow impressive what happen?" He asked me. "Well I chose being a mom instead of being a star . " I told him. "Do you miss it. " He said. "No because I look at Rosie and I know how lucky I am to have her." I said . "You're amazing." He said. "Thanks. So I have a question. " I told him. "Okay. " He said. "Why did you divorce your wife?" I asked him. "Wow you get right to the point." He said. "Oh god I'm sorry I was just curious forget I said anything. " I told him. "No you deserve to know ." He said. "The truth is she felt like I wasn't enough for her so I came home one day and found her sleeping with another man." He told me. "Oh gosh I'm sorry." I said. "Its not a big deal. I mean I kinda felt like we were drifting apart anyway. " He told me. "Thats awful. " I said . "Anyway what about you? Whats going on between you and Rosie's dad?" He asked me. "Oh Finn , I honestly don't know. I mean we use to be best friends and then things got way to complicated. We were friends with benefits and then I got pregnant left Lima and came here and I've been here ever since. " I told him. "Wow thats hard. So he's with someone now?" He asked me. "Yeah he's dating this girl who is a.... well she's a handful." I said. "Sounds like you don't like her." He said . "Yup I hate her." I said. "I can't imagine why he give up someone like you." He told me. "What do you mean?" I asked him. "Well your kind , and funny , and beautiful. You deserve to be loved and cherished anyone can see that. " He told me. I smiled and said, "Are you going to kiss me now?" I asked him. "Only if you want me too." He said. "I do." I told him. He smiled and kissed me passionatley. Later that night I came home to see the apartment was a mess . I cleaned up down stairs and then went up to Rosie's room I opened the door to see Finn and Rosie sleep together Finn had a princess crown on and pearls . I smiled and gave Rosie a kiss on the cheek . "Goodnight princess." I said and left the room and went to bed.
