The Next Day

Karkat's POV: 

I wake up the next day feeling weak, and tired. It takes me a few minutes to find out where I was. 

"Why am I here...?" 

I say that quietly then notice someone is holding my hand. I look over and I see Sollux asleep, holding my hand tight. I smile. I look at my arms which are wrapped in bandages, once I look at them, I feel fucking horrible, why the hell did I do this? I start to tear up then I hear a voice. 

"KK? What are you doiing up?" 

I look over at Sollux and he is staring at me with a look of concern on his face. 

"I woke up a while ago" 

"Why diidn't you wake me up?" 

"You looked peaceful" 

He smiled when I said that and he kisses my cheek. 

"You 2hould re2t 2ome more" 

I shake my head. 

"I am staying up with you" 

"KK, 2leep" 

"No" 

"Don't make me put you to 2leep" 

"Fucking do it!" 

He chuckles and kisses my head. 

"Plea2e, do iit for me" 

I make a face. 

"Fine, but only because you want me to" 

And also the fact that I am tired as fuck. I lay back, close my eyes and fall asleep. 

Sollux's POV: 

Finally, Karkat is back to sleep, I sit there and play on my phone for about an hour, then I get a message from Feferi. 

")(-ello!! 38D"

"Hello FF" 

")(ow ar-e you?" 

"II'm ok, how are you?" 

"Worri-ed about Karkat, how is )(-e doing? 38?" 

"He diid wake up for a liittle biit but II told hiim to go back to 2leep" 

"T)(at's gr-eat!! T-ell )(im I )(op-e )(-e g-ets b-ett-er!!" 

"Ok, II wiill, thank2" 

"No probl-em! I )(av-e to go, I will talk to you soon" 

"Ok, bye" 

"By-e" 

And with that I put my phone away, lay my head down on the bed and fall asleep again.
