Karkats POV:

Today i'm going to talk to that asshole sollux, it will just be a casual chat, seeing that we are just friends, right? It's not like I have feelings towards him. I laugh at that thought, but I just have a feeling whenever i'm around him. It's always so hard to explain. I pick up my phone and dial his number.

"Hello?" I hear sollux say.

"Hey asshole! Want to maybe hang out later?" What a way to start a conversation.

"Oh! Hii KK, II don't know if II can today, 2eeiing that i'm pretty busy"

He always spoke with a lisp, I guess he can't really control that.

"Oh... If your busy we can hang another time" Agh! Why can't I just talk normally around him?!

"Ii2 everythiing ok KK?"

"Yeah, everything's fine, why do you ask?"

"You 2ounded up2et... look, how about after ii am off work, we go 2ee a moviie?"

Holy shit! Is he asking me out? No! I'm just overthinking things, I mean, i'm not gay! Am I? I mean I haven't had any attraction to woman, but that doesn't mean anything, right?

"Sure, that sounds good. What time do you get off?" I must sound desperate!

"Ii get off at 6:30 clo2er two 7, 2o just meet me at the theater around 7:30"

"Ok, see you then"

After i said that i hung up, thinking about what just happened. Was he actually asking me out? Am I gay? So many thoughts were going through my mind. I look at the time.

"It's only 10:00!"

I sighed and laid back on my bed, thinking about what to do next. Seeing that it was only 10 I could read or go online, but my stomach growled reminding me that I haven't had anything to eat yet. I get up and go to the kitchen to get some food. I look through my fridge searching for leftovers.

"Yes!"

I pulled out some pizza i had the other night, I sit down on my couch and I start eating. I started thinking again, was sollux asking me out as a date or as a friend. Agh! Why must I be so confused? I sit there asking myself so many questions, then I hear my phone ring. I grab my phone to check what it was, I got a text message from Dave.

"Hey dude, its been a while since we talked"

"Its been two days smart one! oh yeah! I have a question for you! Do you think sollux liked me?"

"He does talk about you.... a lot, I don't know how he feels about you, why?"

Shit! I can't tell Dave! I don't know how he will react, alright, just calm down, everything will be ok.

"No reason, just curiosity is getting to me, well, I better go now, bye fuckass"

"Hahaha, yeah, talk to you later man"

And with that we stop talking, I get up and decide to have a shower, seeing that I will be out tonight.

Sollux's POV:

I have finally did it! I didn't know what to do, I just asked out my best friend! Is he gay? Oh well, he might think its just a friendly hang out, unless, he likes me too. Agh! How would I even tell him?!

"Hey KK, ii'm gay for you! Ii have liked you for a long time!"

No! I could never do that! I've actually likes him for about 2 years now, seeing I knew I was gay for 5 years, the only one that knows is AA. Speaking of AA, I should talk to her. I pick up my phone once again and start texting her.

"Hii AA!"

"Hell0 S0llux! H0w is everything?"

"Ii fiinally diid iit, II buiilt up the courage to a2k KK out"

"0h! What did he say?"

"He 2aiid he would, we are goiing two 2ee a moviie around 7"

"0h, g00d luck t0 y0u, and h0pefully he likes y0u t00, I can ask him if y0u want"

Ii can have AA to ask KK if he likes me, should I? it would be easier then me asking.

"Ye2, iif you could do that for me that would be great, thank2"

And with that, we ended our conversation.

Karkat's POV:

I got out of the shower to see that aradia sent me a lot of messages, I should probably answer her, or she might tell kanaya that im not answering.

"Hey!"

"Karkat? Are y0u there?"

"Why w0n't y0u answer me????"

"Anyways, I have a questi0n f0r y0u"

"Alright, alright, I'm here! What is your question?"

"Its ab0ut s0llux"

She mentioned his name and a lump was caught in my throat.

"What about him?"

"I'm n0t t0 sure if y0u knew this but s0llux was asking y0u 0ut"

"Yeah, but in what kind of way?"

"Well, in m0re then a friend way..."

Sollux.... is.... gay? That was the only thing that went through my mind.

"o-oh!"

Fuck! I stuttered!

"Yeah, d0es that make y0u unc0mf0rtable?"

"Actually, no, it doesn't, it made me, happy!"

That is when I realized I had feelings for my best friend!

Aradia's POV:

Karkat better realize how lucky he is! Going on a date with Sollux!! Yes, I am jealous, mainly because I have liked Sollux for about 3 years now, but I can't tell him this!! Besides, he likes Karkat! I decide to text Feferi to see if she wants to hang, seeing how im bisexual, and I think she's adorable!!

"Hell0 Feferi!!!!!"

")(-ello Aradia!! )(ow ar-e you?"

God! How she types is even adorable!!!

"I'm great, h0w are y0u?"

"I'm fantastic!!!! Thank you for asking!!! Glub glub!!! W)(at ar-e you n-eeding?"

How do i even ask her?

"I was w0ndering if y0u w0uld like t0 g0 0ut s0metime?"

"Y-ES!!!! T)(at would b-e so much glubbing fun!!!!"

I smile as she says this!!! Her fish puns are fucking cute!

"When and where?"

")(ow about we go to a coff-ee shop? Or th-e aquarium!!!!!"

"The aquarium w0uld be m0re fun then sitting in a c0ffee sh0p talking"

"Gr-eat! W-e can go tomorrow!!!!!"

Her excitement is fucking contagious!
