"Bus leave in 20 minutes." The bus driver says making all of us more worry.

"Uh Gilinsky still isn't here."

"Well he needs to be here in 20 minutes, if not there won't be no Jack and Jack Chicago."

"He's not answering none of us." Nash says making me run my fingers through my hair. I hear Johnson scoff next to me. "Here we go again."

I pull my eyebrows together, "what do you mean?"

"He's always like this, since we been dating he's turn into a little bitch. Don't think I haven't notice how he's become, and don't think I don't know about his little crush on you."

He rolls his perfectly ocean blue eyes looking the other way. I get up quickly facing him.

"Maybe you should do something about it than let him continue being like this." I turn the other way speed walking towards the main entrance.

"Where are you going?"

"To find Jack."

5 minutes later

I been walking up and down the streets it's seems like forever but it's only been five minutes. I groan once again trying to call his phone, when I hear a faint ring. Not just any ring.

True friend by Hannah Montana

I still remember when I begged him to change his ringtone for me.

If only the song still matched our relationship.

I follow the sound leading up to a little alley close by the bus, I turn the corner seeing a sad Jack sitting down against the rusty brick wall. A deep sigh of relief falls out my mouth. As I run over to him.

"Thank god you're okay, I was worried sick." But he didn't even lift up his head, just continue to have his arms hang from his knees that were pressed up to his chest.

"Jack?" I bend down to his level taking a seat next to him. Looking at the clock seeing that we still have ten more minutes till the bus leaves.

"How did you find me?" He asks still not looking at me.

"I heard your ringtone, automatically knowing it was you." I smile at him, but it soon fades when I released I was the only one. I rest my head on his shoulder taking his hand into mine not helping but notice how warm he felt against me.

"I miss this, holding your hand." But still no answer, only a little squeeze taking in my hand into his.

"Why are you still mad?" I couldn't help but let what was on my mind roll off my tongue and into the air of tension.

But my question was still in the air, not being answered so I spoke again.

"You know, all through high school people would call us a couple just because we shared kisses once a while or we would hold hands or give each other pet names."  I take a pause remembering the memories of high school.

"But that's what I ever wanted to be, I wanted to be more than your friend that you let paint your nails pink at 3am. I wanted a us. But I never knew you wanted the same, I always thought you preferred someone more better."

"Nobody could ever be better than you." He finally spoke, making straight eye contact with me, making me fall into his gaze.

His beautiful gaze.

Without even thinking I smash our lips together, savoring the taste of his lips, but I knew it was wrong. But the softness of his lips against mine told me otherwise.

We slowly pulled away looking into one another's eyes, never in my life has it felt so good to live in the moment.

"I love you Jack, I always have. You're my best friend that I loved more than friends since the day you defended me from that jerk in sophomore year. But I also love someone else, and you need to accept that we didn't confess our love for each other till now. This isn't our time, maybe in the future. But just know no one, not even Johnson, will ever replace your place in being the person I love the most."

He nods slowly understanding, while I smiled big. I get up dusting off the bottom of my shorts and holding out a hand for Jack which he gladly takes.

"Now come on, bus leaves in 5 minutes and you got a show to be at."
