"Hello!" Crimson sighed and banged her head against the wall.
"Yeah?" She asked the Rainwing. "What do you want?"
"Awww!! Don't be like that! I'm not that bad." Jace told her, fake pouting and shifting his scales to grey. She felt like banging her head on the wall again when she subconsciously noted that she didn't like that color on him.
"Yes, you are." He completely ignored her rebuttal.
"Where's your sister?"
"Sleeping."
"The others?"
"Badges."
"What are you doing?"
"Waiting."
"Are you going to answer any of my questions with more than one word?"
"No."
"Why?" She looked at him out of the corner of her eye.
"I don't like you."
"Yes you do."
"No, I really don't."
"Yeah you do. You think I'm awsome."
"Not really."
"Got you."
"What?"
"Those answers had more than one word." She stared at the clearly demented Rainwing. She wondered what color he would turn if she hit him with her tail.
"Bite me."He laughed. He actually laughed at her.
"You look like I just declared you queen of the Seawings. Someone has told you your funny before right?" No, she thought. She just kept staring. He snorted."Well that's just sad. Your very funny. Sarcastic funny."
"Your weird." He grinned at her.
"But I'm awesome weird!" She snorted. "Come on, admit it!" He said bumping her shoulder lightly.
"Fine. Your a dork."
"That's not what I meant."
"Why does everyone else like you much? Your annoying."
"I'm not annoying, they like me 'cause I'm awesome. And so do you, you just won't admit."
"In your dreams."
"Wouldn't know, haven't dreamed yet since I met you. I hope so though." If she hadn't been sitting she would have tripped. She must have looked shocked."What?!"
"You heard me. I said 'I hope so'."
She stared at him. "You've gotta open up eventually. And I'm gonna be right here waiting when you do." He sat down stubbornly. Persistent little thing, wasn't he?"This is a completely illogical way to go about this." She hated to admit that she kind of liked it.
"Yes, buts it's the only way that will work on you." Way to true.
"Shut up."
"Not a chance." She glared at him.
"Quit fighting alone in battles that require an army."
"Oh, and you think you could be the other half of that army?"
"I could be, if you let me."
"I'm the equivalent of an army."
"Then send for backup." She was doomed. She did something neither one of them expected.

"Who's Reflection?" Abyss was startled out of her thoughts by Phantoms question.
"What?" He gave her an incredulous look.
"The most brilliant dragon I've ever met and the best you come up with is 'What'? I said, who's Reflection? Brother, Sister, friend, various and assorted titles?" She gave him a scathing look in response to his comment before answering.
"My mom." He gave her an 'Oh. I just screwed up, didn't I?' look. She sighed. She was about to add something else, just to get the scarily perfected broken look off his face, when someone squealed loudly, causing Frigid to jump and the sulking Sapphira to fall off the small ledge she clinging to. It was Crystal, of course.
"What," Frigid gasped. "Was that?"
"Sorry," Crystal said. "I thought about something cute. Go back to your business." Jewel beside her was looking amused.
"Anyone in here waiting for badges?" Said a familiar black and rainbow head. Insomnia, the crazy hybrid from earlier.
"That's us, over here!" Abyss said, waving a wing. Insomnia darted in and dropped a talonful of the medals everyone was wearing in her talons.
"Where these at all times, it proves your known as one of us. No suspicious dragons or anything." She peered around the room at them for a few seconds, before holding up two talons, putting them together, winking at Abyss, and darting out, laughing like a maniac.
"What was that?" Phantom asked.
"I have no idea." Abyss said. A few seconds later, Crimson stalked in, her tail lashing furiously behind her. Just behind her, not even attempting to avoid her tail spikes, was Jace, looking satisfied.
"I refuse to talk to him." She hissed, stalking to a corner and sitting down, facing away from him. Jace just smiled smugly and layed down a few wing lengths away from her.
"Did we miss something?" Phantom asked Abyss.
"Nothing important!" Crimson snapped.
"I'm hurt. I wouldn't call that unimportant." Jace responded, not looking the least bit phased. If looks could kill, Jace would have been evaporated on the spot by Crimson. Abyss looked at Phantom. He shook his head in an I-dont-know way. Meanwhile, in another part of the room, Abyss could see Jewel and Crystal talking in excitement to each other, and occasionally pointing at the two feuding dragons. Well one of them was feuding, the other seemed completely content.
"Has anyone else noticed that our family doesn't make any sense?" Sapphira offered, causing laughter among a few of them.

Hello! Look who finally updated! Yeah, bit of a mystery in the middle... guesses anyone? Who says even I know? Okay I do... maybe... Anyway, I know I'm not updating but I keep coming up with story Ideas, and then I start writing them, and then I ignore all me published books, oops! But some of my stress causing drama at school may cool down next week. Which may help... or not. My Kindle died. As in, completely. No revival. So I can only write whenever my mom lets me borrow her phone, I manage to steal the computer, or my dad falls asleep when I'm at his house I take his kindle. But... hopefully my parents will get me a refurbished one for my birthday (November, so still a month or more away), yay! So, peace for the new school year, I hope you don't fail, and if your one of those poor suckers (like me) that's got an AR goal, more power to you!
Allon-sy!
