"I published a new book!" I yell in excitement. Everyone who's reading this fell into silence— except for one who boredly walks away.
One brave reader steps forward and asks a question that is on everyone's mind.
"What's it about?"
"Well." My grip on the microphone starts to shake as I think on how to make this sound interesting. "It's a Gravity Falls Rewritten AU..."
"And?"
"It's still a Reader-Insert with the same characters."
"And?"
"I-it's like a 'what if' scenario where instead of the kid meeting Ford, they meet Stan for the first time and we go from there until they meet the twins," I mindlessly ramble, ending my statement with a nervous smile.
But not before adding...
"Oh, and it's not a Dipper x Reader."
Mutters fill the room. And the readers all share their thoughts with each other in the comment section.
One person from the audience holler. "Woo! Hell yeah, another sacrifice!"
Questions start pouring in, voices layering on top of each other.
"Is Bill gonna be involved?"
"Will the reader have superpowers?"
"Who's the pairing gonna be with?"
"Is there gonna be angst?"
I begin to smile.
"You'll just have to find out."
