Chapter 17: Shopping and Secrets

We went out shopping, in a sort of disguise. It consisted of a pair of sunglasses, and wigs. Just in case they have pictures of us that we don't know about. We had found this little shopping center just south of the hotel. We saw it on the way up here. Luckily enough, it's in walking distance. We started heading down the street, looking at the buildings and such. This really isn't a very big town.

We made it down to the center. There were a few stores lining the streets. We walked into a little boutique that was right next to us.

"Okay so why exactly are we going shopping?" Meghan asked.

"Oh no particular reason. You know we've been with all those boys for so long, just figured we could all use a little girl time." I replied nonchalantly.

I grabbed Lindsey's arm and dragged her off to the dress section. We spent our time looking at dresses. I grabbed a couple and threw them at her. Forcing her into the dressing room to try them on.

"Em, what's this all about?" she asked from the other side of the door.

"They looked like they'd look good on you. Is that a problem?" She walked out with the first light pink colored frilly dress. It wasn't /anything to fancy, but it looked great on her.

"If this isn't about anything, then why aren't you tryung anything on?"

"I will, but I haven't had anything shoved at me, or found anything I like yet. Oh, by the way you should get that. You look great in it."

"Whatever. Go try these on." She shoved a couple of dresses my way. Then she walked back into her dressing room. I walked into the one next to hers and tried them on. Just so I wouldn't give anything away, I decided to buy a white one that she threw at me. I walked out then went to find Sierra. She was looking at some jackets in the corner of the store.

"Hey what do you think of this one?" she asked me when I walked up.

"It looks great. Ok, so I'm about to tell you something but you can no tell your sister. Got it?" she nodded. "Okay, so we are here so that we can distract Lindsey. She needed an outfit for tonight because at the hotel the boys are setting up a surprise date for her and Harry. We have to keep her fully distracted for the whole day. It's one thirty and we have till 6. So we can go get her hair done and what not so we don't have to give anything away ourselves. It can just be like one of our old girls day."

"You're kidding. You are setting up a surprise date. That's so sweet. Do we need to tell Meghan?"

"No she'll be fine not knowing. Where is she anyway?"

"Probably knee deep in clothes she's buying."

"Probably."

We all bought something. Well Sierra and I kept our buying to a minimum. Lindsey is getting the dress and some shoes to go with it. And Meghan, well, is getting 3 shirts, 2 dresses, 3 pairs of shoes to go with, and a couple of other things. When we left the store, we went into a Starbucks that was next door. We ordered and sat down in a Booth for a bit.

"So what do we do now?" Meghan questioned.

"Well I saw this place that was down the steet. It was like this place where you could get your hair done and stuff like that. We could go there and it could be like what we used tl do."

"Sounds good to me!" Meghan replied back. She acted like she had never done this stuff before. We threw away our cups and walked down the street to that hair place.

"Amy's Beauty Palace." Sierra read aloud. We walked into the store. There were a couple of hair stations. Dressing rooms with some dresses by them. Some nail stations, and a make-up station. So I guess thus place does more than hair. The only thing was that no one was here. There was just an empty counter.
