Chapter 19: Moving again

"Therefore they can't be trusted. From this point on, we are the kidnappers of One Direction." We all looked up at her shocked. 'What will happen to us when we let them go, if we let them go now?' That's what we all were thinking, we all knew the answer as well. -Silence- The only thing we could all hear right now. All of us drowned in our own thoughts. We all had something to say, but some things are better left unsaid than heard. Plus it was too quiet to speak, You almost felt like you were committing a crime if you talked. But I guess technically that's what we'd be doing, since it doesn't matter anymore. I mean, we are on the run now.

"What happens next?" Oliver said breaking the silence. I flinched at the sound of his voice. The voice I used to love so much then was ripped away and replaced. The voice that I never wanted to hear again for reasons that are known.

"Well, they have a better lead. So we're going to have to tie up the boys and leave again. I know you guys might be tired of leaving, but it's what has to be done. That's what criminals do, they run." None of us liked that word that Sierra labeled all of us with. "Criminals." I hate everything about that word. The way it sounds, what it means, and a new one I'm experiencing. How it feels to be one. If we were in school nobody would of ever suspected any of us would be in jail one day. But I guess life is full of unwanted surprises. It's crazy, huh. One day you could be the best student in school, the next you're a criminal for kidnapping the worlds most famous boy band.

More Silence.

"Well, that's all. Goodnight." We all stood up from our seats and walked into the separate rooms. I lingered for a moment, staring at his bedroom door for a while. All of them are in there. Not one of them is coming out. They refuse. Someone taps on my shoulder and knocks me out of my trance. I turn around and see Oliver standing behind me.

"What do you want?" I said maybe a little to harshly. But he deserved it.

"Emily, please. I never meant for any of this to happen."

"Well it did. So now I'm never going to talk to you again. Now if you excuse me." I push him off to the side and walk towards my door. Only to be stopped by a hand grabbing my wrist and pulling me back.

"Not until you talk  to me and we work this out." I turn around and face him.

"What's there to say Oliver? Sorry? You already tried that. But sorry doesn't always cut, especially when people say it as often as they do. What else is there? That you didn't mean it? Well you did mean it, because you asked me to kiss you. That none of this was supposed to happen? Well it did happen and can't be changed. That even after that, you realized you don't have feelings for me because you have a great girlfriend the deserves way better than you? Well you should of realized that a little bit sooner. Like I did. Even after all of that, I did nothing and here's what I got out of it. 1. I realized that you're a complete idiot and jerk that I never what to talk to again. 2. I lost my amazing boyfriend that I love, but can't have anymore because of you. 3. I got a lot of unwanted pity from Lindsey and Sierra. 4. I got slapped by your girlfriend, that you probably get to keep. 5. I lost 5 other people that I was becoming friends with. And even after all of that, you probably still haven't tried explaining what happened to anyone. If there is anything else you have to say, I think I'm gonna pass. How is that for talking and working everything out. It didn't help did it? Well I'm sorry. Goodnight Oliver." I said before ripping my wrist out of his hand, turned and walked into my room. Lindsey and Sierra were sitting on their bed talking to each other in hushed voices.

"Secrets don't make friends." I say aloud referring what they said to everybody as a joke. They looked up at me smiling. Sierra motioned for me to come sit on my bed. "Where's Meghan?"
