Epilogue: 15 years later...
"Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! When are we going to get home?" My daughter, 5 year old Lilian continuously asked me as we drove from Doncaster back to London.
"In a few minutes sweetie." I said. We were driving back from Louis' parents place like we did every year.
Since 2015, the year we got married after I said yes without running out, we have done the same holiday routine every year. On the 22, we drive down to Doncaster to spend an early Christmas with Louis' family on the 23. Stay till the 24 and celebrate his birthday then drive home. Get home at noon, decorate our house for our Christmas party/Louis' birthday party. The next morning we celebrate Christmas with just us. Finally on the morning of the 26 we drive down to my parents house and have Christmas with them.
Its become a pain hailing back the kids and our Christmas presents and Louis' birthday presents from his moms house. Then the christmas presents and birthday presents from the party. Then the christmas presents from my parents house along with the presents from our house christmas morning. Basically, we have a lot of presents by the end of the week.
"Are we there yet!" Lilian asked again.
"No Lilian! Mum already said in a few minutes!" Lukas, our oldest kid at the age of 12, said frustratedly to Lilian.
"Mommy! Lukas yelled at me!" Lilian yelled.
"Louis, can you please help me control them?"
"Guys, listen to your mom!" Louis yelled into the back seat.
"Thank you. You're my hero." I said to him sarcastically.
"You are very welcome." He said smirking at me the way he did when we were younger.
"Shh! Im about to win!" Leo, our 10 year old son told us from the back seat, not daring to look up from his phone.
"It's just a stupid game." Lukas took the game from Leo's hands.
"Oi, give it back!" Leo yelled grabbing for the game.
"Mommy! The boys are fighting again!" Lilian yelled.
"Ok! The next person who moves or says a word is grounded for a week!" I yelled, they all got quiet and stayed that way until we pulling into our drive. Thank God!
The rest of the afternoon was spent with Louis setting up for the party, and me making various foods and setting them out for the guests while the kids were up stairs putting their nee presents to good use.
At 19:00 (7pm) out first guest arrived. Eleanor and Daniel, who I introduced to my friend soon after I met him, along with Cole, their 11 year old son arrived at our door. I greeted them and told Cole where the kids were.
The next people to arrive were Sierra and Owen with their twins Nathan and Jason both the age of 3. And at the same time, since Lindsey and Sierra always arrive at the same time, Lindsey and Harry (who got together after Lindsey got out, and soon got married) arrived with Charlotte, also 3. Leave it to Lindsey and Sierra to have kids the same year, one of them happening to have twins.
Then Zayn and Perrie came with Alexandria, their 14 year old, and James, their 12 year old came with Niall Ashley and their kids Nicholas, 12, and Zachary, 10.
Danielle and Michael came soon after them, arriving just after my parents, with Michelle, 12, and Gavin, 8.
Liam, Sophia and their kids Katherine, 12, Logan, 9, and Olivia, 5, arrived just before the last couple invited arrived, Oliver and Meghan with Victoria, age 4.
Everyone exchanged gifts, and the guys sang some songs while the kids were upstairs doing whatever they did when together. My parents left about an hour after they came, because my sister was having a party as well, so they left early and went to hers. Danielle and Michael left early because Gavin started to feel sick, which later we found put he had gotten from Cole. Cole ended up puking in out upstairs bathroom causing Eleanor and Daniel to leave early as well. The last person to leave early was Ashley because of tiredness, but she left Niall at the party.
We were all, besides the kids, still outside sitting around a fire. I looked around. To my right was Louis, he had a smile on his face as he sang. Harry sat on the other side of him, holding hands with Lindsey. Lindsey next to Sierra, who was next to Owen, who was next to Oliver who was next to Meghan. Liam was to my left, Sophia and Perrie were somewhere upstairs watching the kids. Niall sat next to Liam and then there was Zayn. All of these people were once together just like this. 6 of them running away from the law. 5 of them forces to come along. But this is where it got us. To all of us sitting around a fire, together reunited again.
It has been 17 years since Lindsey and Sierra decided it would be an amazing idea to kidnap One Direction. I was now 36, and Louis was 38. We had 3 kids now, and without that summer happening we wouldn't be happily in love right now. None of us have really seen each other after One Direction broke up in 2016, because even though we would all get together separately or on the 24 of December, it didn't seem the same. I never realized how much I missed being 19, the summer of June-July in 2012.
Looking back at everyone sitting around me, makes me think of that year and all of the stupid memories we made together. It makes me glad it happened because I wouldn't have met 5 amazing people, one of them being the love of my life. It makes me glad that even though it was for a short period of time, One Direction was lost and we were wanted.
The End.
