My arm was tightly wrapped around Chloe's waist as I tried to nonchalantly help support her. It was cute, I thought, that she had trouble walking after our sex. My poor baby, I thought, chuckling.

When we made it down the stairs, I was surprised to see Jake, CC, Jinxx, and Ashley staring at us. Ashley's face was beat red, as if he had been laughing. Jinxx was just smiling, while CC and Jake wore emotionless expressions, almost as if they were taken aback.

"What?" I said, looking at all of them. No one said anything, but Jinxx chuckled.

"Nothing," CC said, now smiling. "You guys wanna go out to eat? None of us have had dinner yet." I looked at the clock, reading that it was 8:05.

"Sure," I said, squeezing my arm around Chloe's waist. "That sound good?"

"Yeah," she said, smiling at Jinxx. Jinxx winked back at her, and I looked at them questionably. Jinxx only shook his head.

"Alright then, where should we go?" Jake said.

"Umm, anyone feeling up for Chinese?" Ashley said. I nodded.

"How about you guys?" I asked, looking around at everyone.

"Chinese sounds good," Chloe said, and the guys nodded their heads and mumbled in agreement.

"Chinese it is," Jinxx said. "Let's go!"

Jinxx drove Jake, CC, and Ashley, while I took my car with Chloe. When we met up at the Chinese buffet, I helped Chloe walk again, and we all went inside. We all sat in a booth, Chloe and I on the inside, with Jinxx on the outside. On the other side of the table, CC, Jake, and Ashley sat together.

I heard Jinxx whisper something in Chloe's ear, and she elbowed him in the side, laughing.

"Shut up," she told him playfully, and he just snickered. Ashley was eyeing me I noticed, and he flashed me a devious grin. The others were carrying on in their own conversations, but Ashley held my attention.

"So," he began, "did you have a nice shower?" he whispered with a wink. I felt the heat come to my cheeks as I blushed, realizing what was up with everyone smiling at us. They had heard Chloe and I.

"Shut it," I said, smiling widely.

"It was just a question, don't get so defensive," he teased, sticking his tongue out at me.

Under the table, I felt Chloe's foot move, and CC let out a yelp.

"You're just jealous CC," Chloe said.

"Maybe I am," CC joked. Now everyone was staring at Chloe and I, purposely trying to make it as awkward as possible for us.

"You guys are loud," Jake said.

"As fuck," Ashely added.

"What can I say?" I said with a wink. I tried to play it cool, but I knew I was blushing fiercely. I glanced at Chloe momentarily, and noticed she was also blushing. She scooted closer to me, and I put my arm around her to pull her as close as possible.

"Hi, what would you guys like to drink?" The waitress's voice caught me off guard, and my head snapped up to look at the girl I once knew.

I stared at Sarah as she avoided my eyes, writing down what CC wanted to drink. I hadn't seen her in what felt like forever, and I didn't want to. Why would I want to see someone who cheated on me?

"I'll have a coke," I said coldly, looking away from her. Chloe noticed my mood change, and looked up at me in confusion. "I'll tell you later," I whispered to her. She nodded, not wanting to probe. Sarah wrote down everyone's drink orders, and we all got up to go to the buffet.
