Y/n's pov:

"Y/n. Gary's-" HUE starts, but I cut him off.
"Don't. Don't say it..."

I'm ugly crying at this point when suddenly I get jumpscared by a sudden bright light, shining down on me and Gary. I subconsciously tighten my grip on him as I look up to see a ... ship.

We get pulled in and scanned before we're dumped onto a pile of junk that the ship has previously collected. I land with a hard thud next to Gary.
"HUE! What are the oxygen levels in here? HUE?!" I say desperately, but don't get an answer.
I decide to check for myself and take off my helmet, as soon as I realize I can breathe in here I immediately take off Gary's helmet and start lightly splashing his face.

"Come on Gary. Come on." I practically hold my breath as I wait for him to start breathing.
I'm about to give up hope when I get startled by Gary suddenly taking in a deep breath before he starts to cough a little.

I let out the biggest sigh of relief ever and lean over to help him sit up as I met him in a hug.
He lets out a sigh himself when he realizes he's still alive and leans into my hug.
"Oh gosh. That did not feel good." He comments as he catches his breath.

I pull back to look at him before I punch him in the arm.
"Don't scare me like that you idiot!"
"Ouch! Sorry." He says as he rubs his arm and looks up at me.
I give him a smile before standing up and holding out my hand to help him stand up.

He accepts it, taking my hand and lets me help pull him up.
"The hell is this place?" He asks, looking around.
"We got pulled into a ... ship. Luckily there's oxygen in here. However I can't get hold of HUE."
"What?" He asks surprised.
"HUE? HUE, you there?" Gary tries getting a hold of HUE through his wrist TPC, but there is no answer.

"Come on." I tap Gary's shoulder to get his attention, before I start walking over the trash dump we are standing on and over to the ladder that leads to a platform we can stand on.
He follows after me, winching from the pain of the wound on his stomach as he climbs up the ladder. I notice him struggling and help him up the last couple of steps.

"Thanks. Where are we?"
"I have no idea..." I say, walking up to the window and looking out at the aftermath of our fight. Gary walks up beside me, looking defeated.
"We failed..." He says softly, before falling to his knees. "We failed freaking hard."

I crouch down beside him and place a hand on his shoulder.
"We did what we could..."

A door opens behind us and Gary and I both stand up quickly to see who it is. Out walks a small robot and Gary and I look at each other confused.
"Hey y'all." The robot says in a voice that sounds like HUE.

"HUE?" I ask.
"Is it really you?" Gary asks.
"Get off my cheeks Gary." HUE responds.
"Get over here you wobbling rascal." Gary says as he opens his arms for HUE to walk over and give him a hug.

HUE tries walking over, wobbling and stumbling for what feels like forever.
"Come on over. Come on. Right here. I'm waiting." Gary says, waiting for HUE to reach him. He soon gets impatient.
"While we're young, HUE, please."

HUE finally reaches him and Gary crouches down to meet him in a hug.
"Hug me tight HUE."
"Hugging, hugging, hugging." HUE says as he tightens his grip to the point that he's practically suffocating Gary.
"Okay, okay O- Alright!"
"I missed you so much Gary."

Gary breaks free from the hug and stands up with a deep breath.
"That was hard to watch..." I comment as it's finally over.
"That was the worst hug I've ever received." Gary says.

HUE gets back on his feet and looks over at me.
"Hi Y/n, good to see you."
"Likewise HUE, nice shell."
"Thenks."

HUE's red light on top of his head lights up before he speaks in a somewhat hurried tone.
"Guys, we're about to lightfold." He says just in time before the ship lightfolds and all three of us are thrown across the room.

Gary's pov:

The ship gets to a trashy looking planet and dumps us onto a big pile of garbage. HUE and I roll down the side of the pile and Y/n rolls down the other side.
"Y/n!!" I call out to her.
"I'm ok!" I hear her yell back.

I look around and my eyes immediately goes to a big billboard in the middle of all the trash.
"If you're ready for some sweet deals, you're ready for some sweet, sweet... Clarence." I read out loud.
"Oh that is truly disgusting."

"You're disgusting." I hear a voice from beside me and look over to see Clarence approach me.
"Oh no. Oh god no. Clarence?!"
"Surprise!" He says happily.

"Sorry, primate, to inform you of the horribly wonderful news, that I now own you." Clarence says with a disturbingly happy grin.
"What?" I say confused, 'what the hell is he babbling about?'

He goes on to show me a long form on his TPC. I don't even bother to read it, guessing it was a load of bullshit he has written down one lonely evening.
"Oh well, that's great, and... quick HUE run!"

I run off, looking back to see HUE walking in slow motion behind me. I look back ahead just in time to stop as a mettle box is about to hit me.

"YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE!!"
I look behind me to see a demon child hovering in the air.
"Oh wow, I can't believe that worked." She says as she lands on the ground."

"Begone, self-doubting adolescent demon!" I yell out before I try making a run for it again. This time I ran straight into a creature three times my size.
I let out a yelp and the creature points a multi gun in my face.
"Oh no." I whisper.

When I think he's going to kill me he suddenly walks off as Clarence starts introducing the two.
"I see you've met Fox and Ash, my darling children."
"Just to clarify... did any of you spring from that hobgoblin's wiener?!" I question.

"We were adopted!!" Fox yells at me. He walks closer before continuing.
"Which means, it hurts my feelings when people judge me before they get to know me." He says calmly before randomly shooting aimlessly up into the shy, killing an innocent bird in the process.

"Yeah... lovely... unstable... personality you got there..." I common.

"Now, it is time for you and our robot to remove your filth. Wash boy!" Clarence says with a snap of his fingers.
