**Camille's POV**

Telling Emily the truth didn't go as bad as I thought it would. I heaved a sigh of relief as my phone buzzed.

Hey Cam...sorry for not accepting him. I still don't like or approve of him but I'll stop telling you to leave him :) -Em

I grimaced. What happened between them? I wanted answers but they never spoke a damn word about their past that would give the slightest clue.

"Ugh! Stop calling me! No, I won't follow you and your brother to get food. We aren't even friends!"

I lifted an eyebrow expectantly as my sister, Clove, walked in. She hung up her phone and threw herself onto my bean bag.

"Hi Clove, yeah you can totally come in, thanks for asking." I awaited an explanation for the phone call that I just overheard.

"Oh sorry. You're free now right? Boys are driving me nuts. Okay maybe just one boy." She turned to me and I gave her a nod, telling her to continue.

"So there's this new guy in my class and he's egoistic and conceited. He flirts with every single girl and they all fawn over him. I can't take it! But he and I never talked so all was good...until he called me a couple days ago. I don't even know how he got my number! Since then, he's been calling me every single day and it's pissing me off. He keeps acting like we're friends and even asked me to go out with him and his brother. Help me!" She rambled on, anger evident in her voice.

"What's his name?"

"I think it was Nathan."

"Just ignore him. He'll probably stop after awhile. And I need to do my homework, so can you please go back to your room and do yours?" I suddenly remembered my stack of worksheets piled up beside me.

"Yes mother." She scowled before walking out.

I swear I heard someone else mention 'Nathan' from my school before but, who was it?

-------

"Hey Cam, do you happen to have a favourite band?" We were in class, waiting for the teacher to enter.

"Not exactly. I'm not the type to fangirl over bands but singers - maybe." I never knew how people could be so obsessed with bands. Even Emily would fangirl over one direction all the time.

"You said you liked one direction right? 'Cos I kinda have two spare VIP tickets. I'm going with Mike already." Noah pulled two tickets out of his wallet.

Emily gaped at the tickets, simply too excited for words. "You have two VIP tickets?" She managed to ask after seconds of silence.

"Yeah that's what I just sai-" Emily interrupted Noah and screamed, gaining us attention from our classmates.

"Okay maybe this guy isn't that bad after all." She snatched the two tickets out of his hand and handed one to me.

"We'll be seated together so please don't scream in my ears." Noah pleaded as a smirk began to form on Emily's face.

"Wait, how'd you even get these tickets?" I curiously asked, suspicious.

"My family won 8 tickets and my parents gave me 4."

I skimmed the ticket and realised that the show was in two months. I sighed inwardly. I guess I was going to have to last a whole two months listening to Emily talk about the concert.

When school was finally over, I headed over to my locker to dump my books there.

"Ahem."

I turned around and came face to face with a smiling Tricia Ragnwood.
