I run around the forest childishly, glad to be unable to log out of this game. The forest seeming to sing as I run through it, as though it's happy to have me there. The trees were lush, there were orchids and poppies spread over the land, there was a peaceful feeling in the air. It was as if I it was pulling me deeper in, so I continued running, following the feeling until I reached a cliff. The scene was amazing, there was a sparkling waterfall running down the rocks into a crystal clear pool where you could see the many colored stones at the bottom. By then, I was shedding my clothes and about to dive in as a heard a panicked yell behind me, sounding somewhat male. I turn almost immediately, going for the knife at my belt and holding it in front of me in a defensive position.

"P-please put your clothes back on." A boy says, covering his eyes with a light blush on his cheeks. I sighed and put my top back on, it barely covering my breasts before looking over him, deciding he was obviously a human before turning back to the lake.

"You can look now," I say as I sit down on a rock, letting my feet hang in the pool. "So, what's a human doing out here?"

"I got lost," He says sheepishly. "And how did you know I was human?"

"You don't have ears or a tail, you don't have wings, your eyes aren't yellow, and your ears aren't pointed," I list off easily, my tail swaying from side to side.

"Then what are you?" He asks curiously before I chuckle.

"I'm a fox child hybrid," I respond, a pair of black wings unfurling from my back before hiding themselves again as he gasps in shock. "So, what's your name?"

"I'm Aiden," He responded. "Are you stuck in this game as well?" I nod before turning to face him with a grin.

"I'm Ebony. Welcome to this world where you fade from reality," I smirk before standing and walking off, leaving him in shock before he started to chase after me.
