Secret

Part 2

It had been three days since the whole sleepover fiasco, it was early noon and sakura was sitting in bed reading a romance novel when the phone came gave a soft sound, she picked and saw that it was a text from hinata.

"Sakura chan, if you are not busy would you like to have a cup of coffee at Café Point with me."

"Sure Hina chan, I would love too. How about we meet there in an hour."

"Okay, I'll see you then"

'Well I better get ready. I wonder what I should wear' thought sakura.

After spending half an hour on deciding what to wear, sakura finally decided on wearing a plain white dress with a black belt and matching black bow shoes with a small heel.
'Well, I better get going now'

Grabbing the car keys, she got into her black lotus and drove off to the café to meet up with hinata.

Hinata POV

I had already reached the café and decided to order when sakura chan gets here. I was wearing my favorite baby blue summer dress and I had tied my hair in a high ponytail and had put on matching doll shoes.

I just sat there watching the different people inside the café when my eyes fell on a guy that had just entered the café. I couldn't take my eyes off him for some reason, his hair was sun kissed blonde and his blue eyes seemed to sparkle. He had weird whisker marks on his face but they looked rather handsome on his face. He was dressed in an orange hoodie with blue jeans.
I kept staring at him, I didn't even realized that he had seen me and was looking at me.
He started walking towards my table which caused me to panic and before I could do something he was standing right in front of me and flashing me his smile.
The only thing he did was flash me a smile, before someone walked up to him and grabbed the back of his shirt and dragged him away from me. I just watched him leave and just before he managed to disappear from my sight he said one thing that made me blush as red as a tomato.
"You look really pretty in that dress"

This made me blush so much, I thought I would faint right there and now. It was the first time somebody had said something like that towards me usually people say this kind of things to Ino chan but never me.

'I am such an idiot; I didn't even catch his name. So stupid of me'

Sakura POV

I reached the café just in time. There weren't many people at the café so I spotted hinata pretty quickly. She was sitting in one of the tables near the window fiddling with her fingers. As I got near, I noticed that her face was as red as a tomato and she seemed to be mumbling to herself.

"Hey Hinata, You okay?" asked sakura.
"S.Sakura chan, w.when did you g.got here" stuttered hinata.
"Just now. Mind telling me why you are sooooo red?" Sakura asked in a teasing tone.
"I.It's n.nothing. Don't mind me." Hinata explained while waving her hands around.
"Okay, if you say so hina chan." Sakura agreed with a smile.
They both ordered a cup of coffee and a plate of scones. They sat there in a comfortable silence when hinata asked sakura the one question that she dreaded answering.
"Sakura chan, I don't want to be rude but May I ask you why you want to go to KPA?" hinata asked.
"I knew you were gonna ask me this hinata but tell you the truth, you may think that it is a very selfish reason." Sakura replied.
"Oh no sakura chan, I would never think that, everyone has their own reasons for doing everything, so I have no right to judge you or your reason. I just wanted to know because you are my friend and I want you to be happy. But it's alright if you don't want to tell me, I will understand." Hinata answered back.
'Hinata is right, I should tell my friends after all they always share their secrets with me, they have every right to know my reasons for wanting to KPA considering the fact it is a boys school, so they need to know..........I am going tell them' thought sakura.

"Hina chan, you are right you deserve to know and as my friend you have every right to know, so I will tell you." Sakura suddenly interrupted.
"Sakura chan! Arigatou" hinata replied, having felt worried that she might have upset her friend.

"The reason I want to go to Konoha Prime Academy is that I want to fulfill my father's wish. You see when I was little, dad was always telling me about the things he used to do when he was little, what he wanted to do, what his wishes and dreams were. So, one day we were walking around that we came across KPA and dad just stood there and stared at the building, just lost in his own memories. I asked him why he was looking at the building like that and he just looked at me, smiled and said 'sakura I'll tell you some other time'. After that we left that place but I could never forget the look he had in his eyes and I would always ask him about it, and he would never tell me. So, one day, I asked him again and I figured he wouldn't tell as always, but he finally decided to tell me.

Flashback

"Daddy, do you remember the building you looked at and you didn't tell me why you were looking at it so sadly. So, remember you said that you would tell me all about it later. So later is now, right." A five-year-old sakura asked her father cheekily.
"Hahaha, looks like you are not going to give up on that, it's the third time this week, baby girl." Kizashi Haruno answered back laughing at his cheeky daughter.
"But you said you would tell me" sakura answered back stubbornly.
"Fine Fine, I'll tell you, would that make you happy? asked her father with a smile.
"Yes, I'll be happy" answered sakura practically glowing.
"Alright then, Listen carefully" Kizashi said while looking at his daughter who was concentrating on every word he said.
He gave a small chuckle and continued on.
"That building that we saw is a school for boys and when I was little older then you are now, I wanted to go to that school but I couldn't. I wasn't a very smart student, so I never got the chance to go there. I tried very hard you know, but I never could get in that Elite Academy. So when we walked by their back then I remembered my dream and all the hard work I had done to get there, I felt a bit sad, it would have made my family proud but Alas, daddy wasn't smart enough to get in."
"So does that mean only smart people get to go there. That is mean, everybody should be able to go where ever they want" little sakura fumed.
Kizashi couldn't help but laugh at his daughter antics.
"Baby girl, I don't think you will be able to go there" Kizashi chuckled.
"Why not daddy, I am smart" little sakura looked confused.
"It's a school for boys and last time I checked you were my little baby girl" Kizashi said while grabbing his daughter and flinging her in the air.
This caused little sakura to erupt into fits of laughter.

End of Flashback

"So now you know the reason why I want to go to KPA, it was my dad's dream to go there and I want to fulfill it." Sakura concluded.
"Wow, sakura chan I didn't know that. You must really love your father." Hinata said.
"Yeah I Love him a lot and I really want to do this for him even its impossible, I just want to try. After all, he tried, it's only fair that I do that too" Sakura added with a slight smile.
"Sakura chan, don't worry even if you fail at least you would have tried, right." Hinata encouraged.
"Thanks hinata, I am glad to have told you. I feel so much better" Sakura replied.

Both just sat there after the conversation looking at the people that were passing on the street when suddenly both of their phones beeped signaling that a message had been received. They checked their phone to find that the message was from Ino. It read;

"Girls!! Meet me at my house.
ASAP!"

"We should go, Ino never writes ASAP unless it's very important" sakura said after reading the text with a frown.
"You're right, I hope nothing bad has happened" Hinata added looking a little worried.

They left the café and got in their respective cars and started heading towards Ino's house.
